He really has gone for the Schroedinger's Candidate, as opposed to the Ever Wondrous Windsock...

Mitt vs Mitt (new window)

hubiestubert: Schroedinger's Candidate

brilliant. i'm stealing that.

the thing is, he's so unabashed about it. it's bizarre.

Confused? These questions - and many others - will be answered in the next episode of DOPE.

Just wrap the guy with copper wire and put him between some magnets.

It's going to be amusing to watch Fartbongo skull f*ck whoever the GOP decides to toss out there. Seriously, every possible candidate is an absolute joke.

I'm thinking they're gonna get Newted.

I will be glad when Romney gets the nomination so he can run back to the middle again.

2011-11-28 11:00:47 AM
Good old Mittens, at it again

2011-11-28 11:02:42 AM
Yes, I got it, but it would have been easier if Mitt had just said "Newt, I've met Ronald Reagan, and you're no memory-loss Cold War attention whoring saint. You suck dick on your own merits, sir."

2011-11-28 11:06:40 AM
Yes AND No. At the same time.

2011-11-28 11:06:52 AM
Other than doing anything to get more political power is there anything the Mitt has actually stood for and not changed based on trying to get elected?

2011-11-28 11:07:38 AM
I can't find the exact quote now but he DID say something to the effect of "I'm just trying to get elected" which I read as "You can't trust anything I say."

2011-11-28 11:07:46 AM
How about we deport every person who uses "illegal" as a noun? Pound for pound, that's way more annoying than actual illegal immigrants are anyway.

And guess what? It won't matter then, just like it doesn't matter now. IT'S CYBER MONDAY, CITIZEN. GO SHOPPING.

I learned that it's a civil misdemeanor to illegally cross the border one time.

But it's a criminal misdemeanor (or sometimes felony) to cross after being turned away or being deported.

Mitt had a new OS installed over the weekend, expect a few more flippity floppitys.

WizardofToast: Yes AND No. At the same time.

No, he is yes or no depending on what will get him elected.

Romney wants what you want. And he's pretty sure you want the instant gratification of having your idiotic and ill-informed views parroted back at you unchallenged. Quit complaining.

bravian: I will be glad when Romney gets the nomination so he can run back to the middle again.

Lol... no kidding. I also hope to see the following question asked of him sometime during the general campaign... "During the GOP nomination process you stated you held position A on issue one. Now, you have stated you hold position B. Were you lying then to get the nomination or lying now to become president?"

2011-11-28 11:16:24 AM
Romney was Mormon before he was Mormon for Mormon, Mormon.

2011-11-28 11:20:36 AM
Mitt Romney exists to run for president. That is his single principle - to occupy the Oval Office.

2011-11-28 11:20:52 AM
Gingrich is the only one 'Conservative' enough to have a sensible immigration policy.

Nixon China, etc.

2011-11-28 11:25:43 AM
Reagan couldn't get in the convention hall with his liberal platform in this day and age of Neocon weirdness.

2011-11-28 11:26:13 AM
I wonder if after Romney gets nominated he'll go full McCain and choose the most batshait crazy VP nominee to satisfy the GOP wingnut base.

He's the Republican John Kerry... With less personality.

2011-11-28 11:26:39 AM
He changes his position based upon the situation on the ground as new information becomes available. He's not an unflexible idealogue!

someonelse: How about we deport every person who uses "illegal" as a noun? Pound for pound, that's way more annoying than actual illegal immigrants are anyway.

Yeah, I know, abbreviation to the smallest fragment of a phrase that is clear in context is an unheard-of convention that appears in no other part of the English language.

//Man, I hope the New York Metropolitan Theatre has some decent Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation shows and Improvisational Theater acts this Year-long Scheduling Period. Perhaps there are some good deals on tickets during the Cyberspace Monday Shopping Holiday.

Mitt Romney is the "Visa Card" of political candidates because on the policies he is "Everywhere you want to be". He makes John Kerry seem firm in his beliefs.

FlashHarry: the thing is, he's so unabashed about it. it's bizarre.

Why would he bother to be abashed about it? Who's calling him on the carpet for it in a meaningful way? Whom among the voting populace really cares?

People care more about voting for the right American Idol. What are the voting qualifications for most people?

Does he have an R or D by his name?
Does he look good in a suit?
Has he avoided doing anything tremendously stupid?

Do you even know the definition of the word "neocon", or are you just using it as a general epithet against conservative Republicans?

I'm bored with this show. They better do something awesome for the season finale.

He also promised not to raise taxes in Massachusetts as a candidate but then did as a governor.

All the democrats have to do for everyone but Mitt is just display quotes of them verbatim, as Obama has stated before.

For Mitt... just do gigantically long Mitt vs Mitt videos.

You can't argue with a Mormon. They are so used to interpreting and re-writing their own damn book, that if they're held to what they say, they'll keep jumping side to side and stand behind some on-the-fly newly discovered meaning of what their point was, until you find the flaw in their logic. Then they'll keep jumping back and forth....

so lame.

what amusing is no one from the derp squad is in here defending Romney because they know they can't. They even realize that Romey is a used car salesman, empty suit, who wants to be president just because of his ego.

Diogenes: Confused? These questions - and many others - will be answered in the next episode of DOPE.

In last week's episode, Herman and Rick discovered that people don't really like them. Newt discovered some momentum, which he liked, but once voters discovered Newt's momentum, they're starting not to like him. Ron is discovering that being liked doesn't translate to being discovered. No one really likes Michelle or Jon, which isn't much of a discovery, but like it or not, they're still in the running.

Mitt Romney = Chester
Michelle Bachmann = Jessica
Rick Perry = Danny
Newt Gingrich = Tim Flotsky
Ron Paul = Saul (beginning of Season 4)

// Marcus Bachmann = Jodie

Derp Squad has been pretty quiet as of late. I think they are hibernating before the primaries start or something.

With the economy now chugging along and unemployment numbers plunging it doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate.

Stay the course!

2011-11-28 11:44:16 AM
All I can gather from any of this tripe is that any halfway reasonable and rational answer to a question is anathema to the GOPers/Teabaggers/etc of the world.

And, of course, that the candidates are in a race to the derp to gain their support.

fark. That.

In other words stupid people are for amnesty.
