We have evolved to a point in our species where a full-grown adult is now bested physically and mentally by a turkey. It's days like this that I think Al-Qaeda has the right idea.

I had to stop watching these videos. I was overcome by a fierce desire to strangle those animals, strangle them, pluck them, roast them, and eat them.

Not concerned, since they're focusing on the guidos. See Scooter Boy and "I Luv the Sitch." That poor kid in #2 though. Farkin' thug culture.

I don't understand situations like this. Are these people so deathly afraid of a little pain that they just totally lose their minds and go apeshiat? Because I'm sure it hurts like all get out to get bit by turkey, but it's a twenty pound bird, not a damn emu. If you are a healthy adult human, that's just not a fight that bird can win....

Most such films are of domestic (farmed) turkeys that got loose. They run up to people because they want treats. They're positioned just a bit high for the kick-off, but if you catch them just right, they can fly all the way over the end zone.

I don't believe you can just arbitrarily kill a turkey but I could be mistaken. Maybe one could claim self defense.

Growing up around animals I think it's pretty safe to say that if you want to be hunted down in cold blood by a much smaller creature that is approaching you in a dominant/defensive/hungry way... by all means, run away from them and show fear.

Had a cat that learned that. My buddy just came back from basic training - seriously bulked up - and a little bitty kitty chased him around my apartment.

That's my best friend's sister. I was just casually watching each video in succession and then I had a massive WTF moment.

The turkey used to sit on top of their house at night and just...watch you.

the turkey didn't like that lady playing on it's phone.

I don't talk turkey but I'm betting all ten were yelling "hey buddy, you got some food?"
