What's the over and under that they wipe the slate clean?
I'm betting they fold rather than wad up the courts with their repeals.

Did it involve a modified wooden toilet roller?

Next stop: Radio Shack.

Never been offered so much useless shiat that I "need" in lieu of the thing I actually went in there for.

I bet they'll paper the courts to avoid hard time.

DirecTV implies they won't service the system they install unless you also buy their over-priced surge protector. Special toilet paper doesn't surprise me.

When Mr. Whipple said: "Please don't squeeze the Charmin", was he talking about before or after you had used it?

It's the oldest trick in the book. People have been running toilet paper grifts for thousands of years.

More than a dozen customers were told they needed special toilet paper to avoid ruining their septic tanks because the federal government changed regulations on toilet paper. The federal government does not regulate septic tank products.

Before you wonder why anyone would fall for that pitch think about all the e-mails you have been sent by conservative friends regarding the evil government that were factually incorrect? In most cases the person sending it is a perfectly rational and intelligent person; yet when encountered with subjects political in nature like regulation they lose all reason and go full retard not bothering to see if it is actually true, because it reinforces their world view.

First step of a con is telling the mark things they want to hear.

Calvin: I know more about the private lives of celebrities than I do about any governmental policy that will actually affect me. I'm interested in things that are none of my business.....and I'm bored by things that are important to know.

Hobbes: The media aim to please!!

Calvin: Maybe the economy should be discussed in cheap motel rooms.

If people want to gullibly believe other peoples' lies with their money, why should the government stand in the way of the free market?

Same goes for making money from burning used car batteries. Murrica!

The trio faces up to two decades in prison when they are sentenced in February.

Amateurs. they should've caused a banking collapse instead. Would've gotten no time. And maybe gotten a bonus from their employer to boot.

Why is the Starship Enterprise like toilet paper?

They both circle Uranus and wipe out Klingons

2011-11-27 03:52:21 PM
So 12-ish people bought about $1,000,000 dollars worth of toilet paper so they'd be able to pass a toilet inspection? ~$80,000 per gullible S. Floridian? Strangely, I'm okay with that.

If you have too much money, you should spend it on worthless crap . . . it helps the economy and redistributes the wealth.

What's the big deal? They were just roll playing as they went about plying their trade.
