The survival of the EU itself would be in doubt.

I'm OK with that.

The EUSSR is kaput! The politboro aparatchik in Brussels has failed and denying the Nation States their Democracies in some bunker mentality will only make it worse.

Still, we stand tall.

I'm also partial to this octet version.

You know, because it says a lot about the global economic crisis. It totally does!

This story, like so many others, completely fails to address the main question. Will cheese get cheaper?

WTF Indeed: Only if we can see Phantom of the Opry.

HAHAHAHA

The day that I'm unable to laugh at a Bronson, Missouri reference will be a dark one.

Because, you know, the economy.

The euro and what-have-ya.

Nope. The collapse of the Euro economies mean subsidies would be the first to go. Thereby raising the prices of all AG exports.

I have to admit, I'm not really knowledgeable about vocals.

That said, your perspective is appreciated.

Yes the Euro is gonna go down, the unfunded liabilities of the welfare state in so many of those countries and the lack of financial discipline in the governments will ensure it. It is only a matter of when it happens.

The bigger question is, which will crash first, the US Dollar or the Euro? Both are getting a boost from uncertainties in the other. The answer of course is to not own either one, or as little as possible.

If you don't want the bust, don't have the central bank and government create the boom. We've had the boom, we're gonna have the bust. We can either have it be short, deep, and quick, or long, deep, and drawn out.

Oh now. The US Dollar is still the world's reserve currency. The Euro is not. The un-elected politboro in Brussels is going down harder than subby's mom.

BTW, I realize the shtick is the most terrible (or awesome, however you like to interpret it) version of that "economic diatribe", but in case this hasn't been brought to your attention, I found this in the keytar article from earlier in the day, worth a look I think.

I say let it fall. An un-elected central committee in Brussels is farking with the democracies of the Nation States. Greece and Italy power structures were manipulated out without Democracy. Ireland was told to accept the terms BEFORE they were allowed to have an election. Spain kicked out the socialists.

It's bunker mentality time in Brussels.

So you're saying if we mold the Euro into a more American feta-eral system, the wheels of the economy will keep on turning?
