Bob_Laublaw: In 30 years, children will see shots from Jersey Shore and wonder why everyone in this decade had orange skin.
darch: Now, COVERDALE- around the Slip of the Tongue-era, had HUGE hair. BTW, that pic of him in the list has him moving his head forward, making his hair look bigger than it truly was.
FeedTheCollapse: I've always wondered about this hairstyle:
Poison: "What were they thinking"? They were thinking everyone is wearing their hair like that. Sported an afro myself back then.
Walker: Look, in the 80's the bigger you could make your hair, the cooler you looked. It was the style at the time. Styles change. People will be making fun of our styles in 30 years.
darch: British list fail. WTF is a "barnet"?

darch: And people make fun of today's "style" today. No need to wait 30 years. Each successive generation looks back in horror at what the previous one did/said. This is nothing new.
schubie: The 80s were a decade of hair products. There was gel, mousse, spray, fixative, molding mud, styling wax and a shiatload of other stuff that was essentially all designed to make your hair look sticky, wet and stiff, hmmm.
RandomAxe: You see Amish women with hairstyles that aren't trendy, but you know what? It doesn't look stupid. Not today, not tomorrow, not twenty years ago either. There's a reason for that.
Tax Boy: [i84.photobucket.com image 500x375]As someone who came of age in the 80s, I still think big hair can be kinda hot.
