Subby, Liverpool and "doing a job" never go hand in hand.

Of course it does, the job just has to be stealing things.
Case in point, stealing points from City.

I'm predicting that City falls today. There will be one more upset somewhere, too, I'm just hoping it isn't the Gunners losing focus today. Last season they fumbled games like this.

It doesn't really feel like United have lost once inubianmes this season.

I for one am looking forward to the possible reappearance of a Mr D. Gibson. He'll save us.

I'm hoping the game is close, but City are coming off that tough loss in Napoli, so they might be extra motivated. Mancini has all but said plain that his goal this year is the Prem, but I'm hoping 'Pool can pull off another stunner. People (including myself) thought they wouldn't beat Chelsea so even a draw against City would make me quite happy.

I still think that despite all their talent (which they clearly have in abundance), they're brittle and overdue for a bit of sniping among them, as well as a surprising loss. Arsenal lost badly at Old Trafford and grew from it. United's loss to City was a learning lesson for them, too. I don't see City having that same resolve under pressure.

Both 'pool and City have the mental strength of a stressed Kevin Keegan so the question is who will break first. My money would be on a scrappy match with a moment of brilliance from City to get the points.

Arsenal v Fulham : 3-1
Bolton v Everton : 0-1 snoozefest
Chelsea v Wolves : 3-1 will be closer than the scoreline looks but class will tell
Man Utd v Newcastle : 2-1 typical before spring ManU grind out the three points
Norwich v QPR : 2-1 Have almost taken points from ManU, Arsenal and Chelsea and got points at Liverpool so Norwich will be just a little bit stronger than QPR
Stoke v Blackburn : 1-0 snoozefest
Sunderland v Wigan : No one cares
West Brom v Tottenham : 3-0 Spurs are just walking on water at the moment

Manchester United v Newcastle on ESPN2

I just thought of that right after I posted. United/Toon on ESPN3 on the laptop, and Blues/Wolves on the TV.

GLENN WHELAN wraps up Stoke's points. Hopefully.
I'll be honest, this game has sucked ass.

Outside of the "bigger" clubs there is not very good football (both in the EPL and La Liga). Bundesliga's football outside the top clubs is a lot better.

Newcastle making United quite nervous. This is a testy feature early on.

BOLTON RED CARD

Wheater goes in hard on Bilyaletdinov.

Everton should see this game off now, they've been the better side.

I LOVE that NUFC are taking the game to United right now. I see Manure scoring on a counter at some point but I'm absolutely loving Pardew's tactics right now.

/Don't call me delusional but I really could see NUFC winning this game.

Even a point is a good result. We seem to have a plan for each game, rather than trying to improvise. Saw it against MCFC for the first half hour ntil they broke us down.

I'm very hopeful for a Gunners win, would like to see both a clean sheet and other strikers besides RvP putting the ball in the net (esp Gervinho and Arshavin).

Oh, I'd love something good to happen for Meerkat, especially since he's going to have to play when Gervinho is gone.

Gervinho just needs a fluke goal and I think he'll go nuts. He's so close, he's just barley missing the final touch. He's like a good hitter who's in a slump, he just needs a little bloop single and he'll go on a two month hitting streak.
