"Mahy and friends have been working on the project the past few weeks. They hope to have it finished in the next few days and ultimately would like to sell the swing and donate the proceeds to the efforts to build a new playground at Meaford Community School."

I guess that's easier than just building the new playground?

/Still, better than what my first thought at seeing the tagline.
//Some fatty fetish thing.

I hope it at least sells for a few times what they put into it.

Probably should have built 30 regular porch swings and sold them.

36 feet long, 19 feet tall, 2 cases of industrial glue... good luck moving the darn thing to whoever buys it.

"One of the most important people is my chiropractor Jim Thompson. I've been to see him three times a week since I started this,"

Three times a week? He must be a really good chiropractor.

I can't wait till the insurance companies crush his dream.

Don't hook it up until the structural engineers, safety engineers, osha, and about a thousand other government and insurance agencies sign off on it.

That looks really cool. I'd like one of those.

An object having its own Facebook page is hardly the equivalent of running a marathon these days. The rest of it seems genuinely cool, though.

Why is this "giant" structure able to be climbed by one ladder? Is that a giant ladder? Is this a giant man?

2011-11-26 01:00:41 AM
Oh, wait. This is probably "epic", isn't it? Blast my epic giant.

I got about as far as "swing" and "5000 screws"...

Reminds me of my ex; if it swung, she had to investigate, ended up getting screwed more than the 99%

Swinging is Satanic, it leads to evil just like reading Harry Potter.

Does it come with a couple of toilet bowl planters?

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 Mass x Velocity Squared & a body in motion tends to remain in motion unless acted upon be another force.
I'm thinking this could cause some serious body injury or death should someone fall in it's path while it is in motion due to its large mass. With children and older folk using it that may happen. I don't think a human body is going to provide much resistance should they be the opposing force.

... 5,000 screws...

I believe this quantity is known as a quadrichamberlain.

He wanted to build the new playground but insurance issues from the schools stopped him, so he`s doing the next best thing and fundraising for new equipment.

Kudos to him.
