Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator.

Does it drive anybody else crazy that the escalator handrail moves ever so slightly faster than the stairs do? I keep my hand on it and watch it slowly drift away from me... aaaand I'm too easily amused sometimes.

When we went to the US last year, the hand sanitiser at the bottom of the escalators confused me greatly. (Well, I knew what it was for, obviously, but surely it's overkill?)

But then again, we also don't do toilet seat liner things. We're hardcore like that.

Tell this to the dumb-asses who produced the Hungry Howie ad where the guy is licking the phone. Simply disgusting. How is that suppose to make me want to order their pizza? Hungry Howie ads are some of the worst on television.
