My kittehs are standing guard around the smoker today. Turkey and bacon explosion for Fangsgibbing dinner. I am thankful for friends, family and kittehs. My "Aunt Lolly" knows how much the kittehs are part of my family.

The house is filled with the smell of turkey roasting in the oven: yum! I am thankful for my hubby, my family, my Caturday family and friends.

assorted Li-Ion pictures, have not taken too many this week, odd work schedule and lots of work in the house or on the farm.
Woke up on Tuesday with a huge scratch on my nose, Li-Ion attack in the night!

I have many things to be thankful for this year, and my Caturday friends are among them. However, the one that outweighs them all is laying on my sofa, senior cat on his lap, with both sound asleep.

One year ago on Nov 17th, I met him. No sparks or fireworks... just a nice guy.

In March of this year, I turned 50, and kinda had the epiphany that marriage was not really going to be a part of my life's story. Shrug. Oh well.

Yesterday he signed all his paperwork for his new job in my lil country town, and on Dec 5, he will complete his move out of his house and into my lil country home. The details of our wedding are sketchy, but I hope to be a spring bride.

Ginger, above, was willing to accept a few bits of turkey; Jimmy, below, insisted on his share. (He's actually rather smaller than Ginger.) Nobody else seemed to be interested.

Congratulations. I didn't find the love of my life til I was 45. We were married in '06 and there've been no regrets.

predle - I'm soooo glad you posted your tryptic (did I spell that right?) I hope everyone else who posted a kitteh tryptic will also bring it to Caturday. There were several good ones!

I'm so very thankful for my amazing docs, who have spent the past 3 days trying to figure out what happened to my stim device (on their own time!) Apparently my bleed on Friday after the first surgery shorted out the device, so we changed out the shorted part and now it's working! It may take a few days of continuous use before I can tell how much it will help the pain. Also incredibly thankful for my mom & guy, who have taken all of the complications in stride. Apparently nothing can go right the first time for me... Thankful also for my sweet kittehs - Lars has been a bit more quiet in the mornings & Cassie is following me around to make sure I'm going to be ok.

VERY thankful for my Caturday family - you guys have helped me cope with a lot over the years. ***HUGS***

We didn't have our Turkey day today... Not sure when the guy will be home again, but we'll probably have the big meal then. Unless it's when I have my 2nd surgery to make the stim permanent...
