Burglary assault and battery larceny theft. All charges that could apply. Cops charge them with anything that could fit. The prosecutor then prosecutes them for about three of them. And then the Guy gets a plea bargain to face only two of them.

According to court documents filed this week, the purse snatch took place in a Safeway parking lot last Friday. The woman chased the bicyclist about 15 feet.

Eh, we need more information here. My guess is, he was stupid enough to be in high gear and going slow as he snatched. In which case he had no hope if she immediately came after him since acceleration sucks in high gear.

The alternative - that a 29 year old man couldn't ride faster than a 59 year old woman can run - is too depressing.
