I question the legitimacy of a "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" that inducts Metallica before Black Sabbath.

There's a lot to question about Jann Wenner's Rock and Roll HOF. Sabbath was only about 15 years overdue being inducted.

There's one Van Halen song I like that I've heard on the radio many times.. but I don't know the actual name, and browsing the iTunes listing isn't turning it up. Weird. I think Van Halen struck gold with both Sammy and Dave. It's really remarkable the work they did with both singers, and most bands would kill to have the success they had with either. Van Hagar was different from DLR VH, but still good.

I remember around the time Dave left VH, Kevin DuBrow also parted ways with Quiet Riot. There was a panicked period where my friends and I thought DuBrow might end up as their singer.

Gary Cherone VH? THAT was an abortion.

Van Halen and 1984 are the only truly great Van Halen albums
