Well hows this then, since you're splitting hairs: Nadal doesn't win a single game in the second set. (Although indicating the score in the second set as 6-0 was enough of an explanation) either way it's pretty friggin' impressive.

That's false advertising in that headline! In all my years I've never seen such a flagrantly false headline. I can't believe what gets greenlit around here! YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! Completely different story. Don't play tennis do you? Let's paraphrase for other sports and see if it makes a difference:

Hockey: Team A doesn't record a single shot the third period!
Actual: Team A didn't score the third period.

Baseball: Pitcher B threw a no-hitter!
Actual: Team A lost 5-0 but recorded 11 hits.

Football: Team A never caught a ball in the second half!
Actual: Team A ran a lot and had 12 complete passes in the second half.

Not exactly splitting hairs. More like the difference between a perm and a shave.

Tennis players win sets 6-0 pretty regularly. Only one man has won a set without giving up a point in pro tennis history, though. Pretty huge difference.

Well, duh. It wasn't Wimbledon. Nadal has to cycle off steroids every now and then, of course it's going to be during a non-major. He'll be back at his biggest and best when it's time for the real tournaments.

Do you think this is true? A guy that I kind of knew and bumped around the doubles scene for a short time swore to me it was common knowledge on the Tour that Nadal juiced. But at the same time, he seems universally liked/respected by the other players (which would be surprising if it was known he use PEDs).

This right here. Winning a set without losing a point is called "golden set" and it's such a HUGE deal in tennis that the AFAIK only guy to ever win one is in the guiness records book.
