The 4-year-old. They'll never be made to do hard time. The older ones might get sent to juvie.

2011-11-22 09:39:12 PM
The one that's still alive..?

2011-11-22 09:40:14 PM
And make the same mistake I did with the 12, 10 and 8-year-olds?

The quietest one. I would have strangled the others.

If it comes down to the 17 and 14 year old, I give the keys to the one who's less of a moron.

Teenagers are idiots, so just get me home alive.

It's okay if your legs are too short. You just steer and I'll be between your legs working the pedals and stick! You're gonna have to spread wider for me to fit between there.

Depends on how bad the migraine is, I've had ones so bad I'd give my keys to Charles Manson just so I might make it home.

2011-11-23 12:12:11 AM
If the 17 yr old isn't licensed and doesn't have a learners permit, the 14 yr old may be the better choice for a *very* good reason.

/also migraines = braindead. For all we know she couldn't even see what she was doing and was barely conscious.
//not saying it's likely, just "possible"

Letting her 14 year old drive constitutes cruelty to minors? That's the kind of cruelty many 12-14 year olds would kill to suffer from.

2011-11-23 12:22:19 AM
Maybe the 17 year old had some DUIs. Did you even think of that, insensitive submithater?

Is it even possible for a 26 year old woman to have a 17 and 14 year old offspring? Who do these children belong to?

I'm guessing she was trying to parallel park, and the 17, 6, and 4 year old were all female as well...

Oh HELL yeah. At the age of 19, I was diagnosed by a neurologist as being one of the few males he'd heard of that gets honest-to-god migraines. Usually it's the bane of females. And I agree with both of you folks ;)

None.

I can tell you that when my brother was 17 and I was 14, I was the better driver, by far, and was often called upon to:
1. get my mother's car out of snow drifts
2. back my parent's 32-foot camp trailer into our narrow driveway
3. drive my drunken step-father home from bars
etc.

Most states let people earn a license to drive at 16, what are you talking about?

Which begs the questions 1) Why didn't she give the keys to the 17 year old?; and 2) What self-respecting 17 year old lets a 14 year old drive instead of them?

2011-11-23 12:43:35 AM
In some states that's legal age.

Why didn't she just walk home? Being in the car with all those kids isn't going to make your migraine any better no matter who's driving.

2011-11-23 12:56:54 AM
lets see, she was the 17 year old is her boyfriend, the 14 year old is his friend and the other two are hers. drop them all off at the mall and sleep in the car.

Shenanigans!: Why didn't she just walk home? Being in the car with all those kids isn't going to make your migraine any better no matter who's driving.

Some migraines make movement nearly impossible, just FYI. I had one last year where I was laid out on the disgusting concrete floor of the bathroom in the car parts store I worked at, because I was afraid to leave the vicinity of the toilet and could hardly move anyway. At that point not vomiting on myself/the rest of the store trumped dignity and fear of filth.

2011-11-23 01:06:55 AM
This is usually when I head for a bar and try to drink the problem away.

Oh yes.

If you aren't at home when the thing hits, you'll do just about anything to get there, and f*ck the consequences. And if there's kids involved, well, whichever one I could count on most not to hit anything on the way home.

No vomiting, but when I get a migraine I lose the center seventy percent of my vision, and the vision I do have out of the periphery is usually shimmery and explody with light. And sounds are very loud and echoy. So I wouldn't have known who I was giving the keys to - not that i would have really cared anyways. I'd be too busy slamming the car door on my head in the hopes of going unconscious.

When I first started getting migraines (back in 2000), I got them really intensely. Never w/ vomiting, but they were incredibly painful w/ profound aura. I still get them, but they are way less intense than they used to be. I get headaches more often than anyone I've ever met. I'm super-sensitive to storms and energy fluctuations (the worst days for me are cloud-less, windy days for some off reason). I think maybe living so close to the ocean may make it worse for me, but not sure...

There is a documentary I recently watched called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" that is an excellent film. I highly highly recommend it. A person in the film had frequent migraines that were alleviated by following a highly-nutritious diet. Supposedly they did not come back after she changed her diet. Diet is not a factor in mine, so I am SOOL, but it may help someone else. :)

My migraines started from a blood vessel popping in my brain. Lose some field of vision in right eye, slurred speech, then it's dark cool room time. Like I said, if my only ride home was a van of Al Qadea guys with C4 vests on, I'd get in and ask them to pray quietly.
