Yea, especially because they've had a gag order on them for the last two years from the court which they've repeatedly violated. They care a lot more about pushing their own agenda than they do about actually doing what they need to do to get their kids back.

Girl_Friday_19: assuming the violence being fabricated defence is true they should get their kids back. not a troll but if people can keep their kids after some of the other horrible naming I've seen they shouldn't lose their kids.

Why would you assume it's true? That's what the parents say. And they're saying it in violation of a court order asking them not to talk about the case to the media.

That's deeply questionable in a legal sense though. The frist case I was ever involved in hinged on a similar issue. Lady gave birth to her 6th child, the 1st was adopted at birth, the 2nd was beaten to death by an abusive boyfriend, the 3rd and 4th (twins) were taken away when the 5th had a seizure and drowned in the bathtub. The state moved in to seize child no 6 less than 48 hours after it was born. Our contention was they had no legal right to do so, since she'd never harmed this child or showed any propensity to do so (and that she'd cleaned her life up, gone to parenting classes and everything else the state had asked her to do to maintian contact with kids 3&4). We lost at trial of course, but I believe that on appeal the Court affirmed we were right, and that the state cannot take awaya child solely because of the parent's track record. (She never got her kid back though, by then the state came up with a totally different reason to keep the kids based on her "incorrect" handling of the child during visitation)
