Maybe they should focus on not farking up my Facebook news feed instead of working on a phone. Was reverse chronological order too complicated for their users to understand?

There is also well-informed speculation that the phone's operating system will use open-source HTML5 coding. This will help ensure that users can play social games, such as Farmville, directly from mobile Facebook.

HTML5 isn't "open source coding" it's a spec. I mean I can do a "View Source" and tada there is the source.

And isn't Farmville Flash?

What the fark is a powerful social experience? A bunch of moms putting up pictures of their crotch fruit is not powerful or a social experience.

So sick of facebook using terms like this. There is nothing awesome about commenting some a picture.

I don't have a FB account. Many of my friends don't either. This phone's existence is useless to us.

Yeah. Well, with Facebook's privacy record, I'm guessing the phone will track and record your whereabouts, retaining the results on Facebook's servers indefinitely. It will take pictures with the phone every minute and upload them with location and time information. It will record what apps you use and when and what URLs you visit and when, and upload it all.

All for an "enhanced customer experience."

Oh I have one of these Facebook phones. It is called Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).

Newsflash to Facebook, powerful social experiences were around before Facebook. People would write, call or gasp meet each other in person and interact.

You are selling a simulated social experience.

Given Fb's deep integration into the iOS, Android and WP7 platforms, I can't imagine how a Facebook phone could possibly bring anything new to the table.
That HTC phone with the FB button was just an embarrassment.

Facebook can't even write a mobile app for Android and iPhone that doesn't have several major bugs in it, what makes them think they can make a phone worth buying?

All Things D reports that Facebook is modifying Google's Android operating system to fully integrate its many services into the smartphone.

So, yet another Android phone with a shiat custom skin that comes preloaded with more junk apps that can't be removed without switching out for a custom ROM?

Just what the world needs.

Damn it! I could not think of the name of that disaster, and you beat me to it anyway.

Well done Sir and/or Madam, well done!
