Look, he's probably a recovering dick addict and knows just how addictive dick can be. Oh sure, you start out casually with a dick here and there, but next thing you know, you're whole life revolves around finding that next dick.

"I wouldn't suddenly legalize cocaine just because half a million people consume it," he said to Le Temps newspaper last Friday.

...

Darbellay on Monday defended his statement. "I didn't want to insult anyone. I simply wanted to say that just because something exists, does not mean that it has to be legalized," he told 20 Minuten.

Is this supposed to be anti-gay or pro-gay? I honestly don't know.

I love this story with the juxtaposition with the stories in the rest of the paper. Which one should I use to make my sarcastic yet thoughtful comments about?

The young soldiers acting like they are at a teenage girls slumber party?

The government built brothels (great idea btw) ?

The article on joint custody of children in case of divorce?

The fact that there in an occupy movement in Switzerland?

Gah! sooo many choices my brain is melting . . . themilwaukeeseo.files.wordpress.com

Ah, Rule 35: If it exists, it must be legalized.

Forget drug-sniffing dogs. All we need to do is retrain ex-politicians.

Some people complain about them being paid too much in retirement. Others think they should get something.

5 years of community drug sniffing/service should allow them to earn it.

It saddens me that all these progressive European countries are starting to swing so far right lately. I wanted to live over there at some point.

The ironic thing is that Germany seems to be one of the more reasonable places in the world at the moment.

Switzerland was never really reasonable or progressive. We stopped killing each other about 180 years ago (Napoleon made us stop. Thanks a bunch a-hole), but we are still just as backwards and primitive on the inside. It's obvious we are still a mountain people just by spending a few weeks in-country or just looking at the verbal excretions of our politicians.

As for the rest of Europe, they're just gearing up for another round of being at each others throats. Right parties are on the rise throughout, and our backwards policies towards muslims are being hailed as good examples by such lovely people as Jean Marie Le Pen and Holger Apfel.

It's sad indeed. And also very fitting that I think of parts of north america as a great place to live. Looks like we are all in deep shiat and the grass just looks greener on the other side of the fence.

flowdawg: .

Thanks for the insight. Things aren't that bad where I am yet but there has definitely been a rise of the right and sure enough they're implementing all the devious little "social" policies that come along with it. It's quite sad really but the so called left around here had their dynasty and became complacent and corrupt so it's their own damned fault. The right will always do what they do therefore the centrists and leftists need to not be irresponsible flakes when they have power lest the voters get sick of their sh*t and toss them in the doghouse for a few election cycles. Then when the right has chipped away at the social fabric enough to make people remember why voting for them is such bad idea they get booted out and the whole retarded process begins over again.

It's rather infuriating.
