The Condiment King was supposed to be a joke. Anyone who watched that episode would get that.

Turner was, without doubt, one of the worst villains ever. Boasting no inherent superpowers

No, he was more a device villain with a flame-throwing umbrella and a tandem bicycle...that flew for some inexplicable reason.

He's a blatant rip-off of Chuck, The Evil Sandwich Making Guy.

When I used to purchase Wizard magazine, they would have a "Mort of the Month"

He should have been replaced by the Whizzer. Pairing a yellow suit with that name? Really?

Also, Calendar Man is somewhat less pathetic in Arkham City. Speaking of that, I need to visit him Thursday.

Well, there's also the Walrus.

on Friday at 4pm

because comic book writers work 8 to 4 jobs, screw around until the end of the week and then rush to meet the deadline on Friday?

Had no idea it worked that way.

I loved those crappy DC villains. Brave and the Bold made me appreciate them.

I may be wrong, but didn't another writer turn the Calendar Man into a sadistic serial killer, thus reviving the concept and giving it slight credibility?

Indeed. I'm pretty sure you're referencing The Long Halloween version. Certain incarnations of the guy (someone else also mentioned the Arkham City one) actually turned out pretty good.

I'm sorry if Christopher Nolan can't script Kite Man into the next movie I'm done with the "Dark Knight" series.

True.

I thought that episode was great. Condiment King, the Pack Rat, and Mighty Mom were awesome villainous personas.

To the Fisherman's credit, he did almost kill Brock Samson.

Hard to place blame since they were usually collaborative efforts but comics creators used to miss deadlines all the time, especially at Marvel where it became common practice to keep "inventory" stories, fill-ins for regular continuity or run reprints in regular titles. "Dreaded deadline doom" was a pretty common phrase in the letter columns.

I know it wasn't a Comic Book and it was intentionally a parody but The Tick had the best inane villains.

Nintenfreak: I loved those crappy DC villains. Brave and the Bold made me appreciate them.

And now it's cancelled. Fortunately, the next to last episode had the Creature Commandos, and the final episode had Ambush Bug (which makes perfect sense).

Yeah, i was gonna say Stilt Man. Just terrible... And yeah, Condiment King was a parody of 60s batman villains, he was supposed to be stupid.

WellBelowAverage: I know it wasn't a Comic Book and it was intentionally a parody but The Tick had the best inane villains.

I always felt like it was less parody and more hyper-sincere about what a world would be like if all the good superhero personas were taken.

But that might have just been my feeling about the TV show.

I think Word Girl has better inane villains.

Paste Pot Pete was a fu*king fool, he fu*ked the teacher on first day of school.

It was a comic before it was a show.

Which gets even better when Chuck tries to take it up a notch - as the "Handsome Panther".

What? No Ten-Eyed Man? The Batman villian with the power to see through his fingertips?

(I bet wiping his ass or picking his nose is 100x grosser than it is for normal folks)

Leave out Dr. Bong, will you? Sneer! Sneer!

Also, the guy that gets new random powers every time he's killed, and villains just keep killing him.

Superboy Prime, there, I said it.

Note: Batman has been around for a zillion years, he is going to have a fair number of terrible, terrible Golden Age oneshot villains. Also, he is human with no superpowers, so he can't have tons of dudes with alien powers or anything. Plus he was extra campy as a result of the tv series.

For my money Daredevil has the worst rogues outside of his core, after all, he is just a blind guy whose power is that he can "see" and doesn't give up.

You might think he's a pushover, but with his powers escape would be child's play!

Good thing he can't smell all the different possible odors that can exist or else he would be omnipotent.

I never heard of this guy before. Poor dude... probably went evil because the very first time he went to fap gave him a horrible image of his own junk. If I couldn't fap, I'd go evil too.
