The bros are perfectly happy getting their Madden and COD fixes from the comfort of their frat's disgusting couch.

I avoid Q4 losses by staying out of Gunner's way.

Brocade switches are BS. You have to buy the switch, then you have buy GBIC's, then you have to buy licences to use the damn ports, in friggin 8 port blocks. iSCSI is the way to go. little less performance, but WAY cheaper.

Unless you build a separate network for your storage traffic, iSCSI performance is shiat. If you can afford another entire infrastructure then you are going to pay less building a SAN. If you can't and the performance is only "a little less" then you don't need SAN. Converged networks are the future anyway.

There stock is up 13% after reporting the loss after hours. Mostly because the "loss" is only a loss because they paid down a lot of debt they took on acquiring Foundry Networks and bought back a shiat ton of stock. If this is "Fail" I would be happy to fail every quarter.

I hope I never, ever have to manage a ServerIron installation. First time I ever worked with a box that would literally crash and reboot if you walked the SNMP MIB too quickly.

// They fixed that bug, but not 4,385 other ones
/// And *just* introduced a management API, years behind everyone else
//// IPv6 support is a checkbox, but try actually using it.
