I did check your profile, but it's hard to tell for sure how long it is since I don't know how tall your are. It looks like a fine nose, though.

I found this thread pretty darn interesting all the way through: "Women are Evil, Men are bastards" leading to a self sustaining cycle of people being arseholes to one another.

One thing I wanted to take exception to was:

311: "#8 Mr. Dutch-If you have to go dutch on your first date, you'll always go dutch. If he can't buy you dinner at least, he's not worth it."

Equality is a real biatch isn't it.

This post covered almost all of the women to avoid. To round out the list with probably the most important woman to avoid dating is the woman who will not listen.

"I am at the bar and I see this girl with two black eyes and I am thinking great this girl doesn't listen"

Loki see loki do seriously, there's an easy solution to that problem.

When woman begins telling problem, ask "am I offering advice or am listening and offering sympathy?"

If advice, then start your problem-solving brain

If sympathy, listen, give eye-contact, offer positive and verbal cues that you are listening, wait until she is finished, and say something to the effect of "that's a bummer." Also, ask one or two questions to show that you understand her point of view.

This is a funny thread, and I forgot a few:

How about the guy who meets your mom for the first time, she pays for dinner and you stare blankly at the wall in front of you despite the fact that she's directing specific parts of the conversation your way.

And anybody you date that you have to worry about leaving alone at a party so you can pee...not good.

PS, I have a Piglet tattoo...the OLD piglet...I was tripping in college and had an epiphany. That was 11 years ago. I also collect creepy Fez Monkey trinkets and I am insane, but I'm also really fun to play with.

I usually bypass that by making it difficult for myself to find a new one.

Wait, now, didn't someone say earlier that any woman under 5' was going to be insane?

Yes, AcadianSidhe, but we've already proven that you're insane in the good way.

Now move to someplace we can all actually get to you and fark you at.

This has scared me into thinking there are no good women left. Wow, I thought at 23 I had planty of time?

I definitely prefer some shape over those little turned up, two holes always staring at you things.

you are orbably the only man in the world who says that he lvoes to go down on a girl.... I wish there were more men in the world like that.

I am yet another you can add to the list. I love it, and have been told I'm good at it, but unfortunately, haven't had a chance recently. That's a difficult thing to advertise. Hmmm.... "Yeah, and by the way, did I mention I love eating at the 'Y'?" Doesn't seem quite right.

kush-

There are plenty of good women left. I found one four years ago this month and we've been together since. I think it had something to do with both of us being out of college and having a bit of real-world experience, which means realistic expectations of one another and an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. Also, neither of us was looking at the time, and we didn't meet at a bar (every girl I ever met at a bar was a complete disaster). We both knew who we were and who we wanted to be already, too. We both recognized that we were each imperfect (ok, nuts) in our own way and that we could accept that.

The communication and great sex that follows is a big bonus.

Between the fact that both my parents are in Krewes and that my parents MAKE me dress as a bead slut every year for Mardi Gras, I don't know if I even want more beads.

Though it's not every day you get to watch the Pope flip people off, watch people give out bong hits for Christ, and watch your boyfriend at the time suck whiskey out of a fake goat's dick.

Damn, I love this state.

I think the reason why more women are coming up with lists about men in this thread is because women have thought about the qualities they 'look for' in a man long and hard by this point. So now, they're just listing the opposites of what's on said lists.

No. Just highly amused by this thread, and trying to inject some chaos.

And yes, she really was afraid of pigeons. This has nothing to do with your possible fears of avians, feathered or no.

Hm, unless she has scars to prove the brushburns from the backseat of a car, she's got nuthin'.

You're not a real woman till you have a "war wound", wearing only a kilt- seduce a man, and argue over who has to hold the video camera during sex.

Or three things of similar nature.

In my case "not looking" meant that I had just graduated from college, had gotten out of my last serious relationship a year before, had had some fun as a swingin' single that summer, and was in a pretty mellow state of mind at te time. Actually, that was pretty much where she was as well. We met doing volunteer work for AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps is like 70% women. My suggestion on that line I guess would be to pick up an activity that has at least 50/50 women to men. Quite a few friends of mine hooked up with their girlfriends because of our sunday morning ultimate frisbee games we used to have in the park all summer long. We met lots of people that way, because people outside of our circle of friends just sort of knew there was a game on and would just show up. Met a lot of friends of friends that way, too.

This is most women's mistake. Having a type. Me, as long as he's respectful, can hold a decent (intelligent) conversation, and can have a good argument, I don't care. If people restrict themselves, then they have nothing new to experience.
