Although I love the women of the world, I've run across this complete list packed into 1 person quite a few times.

biatch.
When asked 'Is something bothering you?' reply 'no' then get pissed off when you are believed.

Become attracted to someone because he is outgoing and loves parties, start dating him, and immediately expect him to stop this behavior..

Always take an hour longer than promised to prepare for the evening.

Always hide very important events in very unimportant terms so you can have something to be pissed about when your boyfriend declines because he has pressing business, i.e. You say 'It's no big deal, but I was wondering if you would like to visit my parents with me if you are not busy this weekend.' when you mean 'It means a great deal to me for you to see my family with me this weekend whether or not it is possible!'

Whine

If you are trying to sleep, it's because you're exhausted from your almost superhuman level of daily achievement; if he is trying to sleep it's because he is lazy.

No matter what the activity, he doesn't do it as well as a past boyfriend.

If he pays attention to you, he is smothering you.

If he gives you space, he is ignoring you.

Complain

Hate any bar he likes

Demand to be treated as an equal in everything - except when paying for meals, airplane tickets, concerts, beers, clothes, etc. - these are required gifts proving his love.

Declare PMS at any given time. If he is knowledgeable about your cycle, tell him you're irregular from all the stress of your life.

Remember that ANY woman who so much as stares at your boyfriend must be labeled a WHORE and your network of friends must be informed immediately to spread this as quick as possible.

Make his life miserable by making him feel guilty about doing anything other than catering to your needs.

Break into tears for no apparent reason.

Ask for help in some endeavor then become livid when it is given.

Insinuate yourself into your boyfriend's group of friends, break up with him, then make sure you are present at every gathering for the next month just to rub it in.

Types of Men to Avoid:

1.) The guy who puts women in categories.

2003-10-06 01:59:29 PM
JQPublic - right on. I remember back in highschool Dr Drew said "collecting stuffed animals is a clear sign of a personality disorder"

Also avoid: Australian Girl Who Will Say/Do Anything To Get To America

she was a lot of fun when she would still do anything, though. oh well

/she goes back to Oz on Thursday

and a misogynist (with cause, mind you).

Whuh? With cause?

One girl did you wrong, so the entire female gender sucks?

You're the same as those man-haters that get their ass-grabbed and decide to hate men forever. They drive me farking nuts, too.

2003-10-06 02:00:18 PM
I think we can safely say the writer of the article doesn't like girls. He should just say up front that's he's gay and knows nothing about women.

If you're waiting for a girl that doesn't do any of those things, you'll be pounding your pud till it's nothing but a nub of raw meat...

2003-10-06 02:00:28 PM
12. Any girl known as Tub Girl.

No I will not post the pic.

2003-10-06 02:00:37 PM
Narcisstic_Rage

21. sorority. girl. a generalized combination of a gold digger, a princess, and a cheater---but a bonus you often you get is the luxury of carrying the baggage of her sisters as well.

if you aren't a flawless romeo, her sisters will convince her that she needs to do better, and will encourage her to "sow her wild oats",

her sisters will pester you to buy her loads of expensive stuff, especially diamonds.

be prepared to have 75 signed approvals for every detail of your wedding as well, since it is put on for the sorority to swoon over "love"(not from experience, but repetative observation)

I would second that; I came up with Pickrell's Postulate while in college.

"At any college with more than 50% sororiy/fraternity membership, no girl in a sorority will date a guy who's not in a fraternity."

In fact, college girls (by and large) are such that I would sooner date a 19-year-old in the armed forces than a 19-year-old girl in college.

If she is more than 1-2 years out of college and still hangs out with all her college friends then this is a definite red flag. If anyone older than 25 refers to college as the best years of their lives then their lives are pretty damn shiatty.

If she has a number greater than 2 of annoying single friends who will spend every moment complaining about being single, but upon obtaining a boyfriend, will spend every moment complaining about said boyfriend ... another red flag.

Any girl who expects you to give more than she is prepared to give is an instant avoid now. This is the biggest red flag of all.

My wife and I have lost touch with a number of our friends from high school and college. A few of them tried to put the moves on her -- a few others (my friends from college, mostly female) would talk to me but totally ignore her. Others were just rude.

2003-10-06 02:01:05 PM
Yeah, I must agree with many of the early posts; AskMen.com sucks. "Hey, let's put obvious labels on traits we find annoying in women and call it an article!"

Side note: why are gold diggers considered bad? If she's up front about it, I can't think of a better relationship. She gets pretty things, you get sex - not a bad deal, much better than these chicks who insist on all this annoying crap like "meeting their family" and "hanging out with her friends" or "caring about her as a person."

You're one of those Master Debaters aren't you, PhotoCindy?

2003-10-06 02:02:07 PM
God Askmen articles are so amazingly obvious. This mostly boils down to:
What type of women to avoid? Those with terrible character flaws.

If you cant figue that out for yourself, you have no business being straight.

2003-10-06 02:02:10 PM
I don't think it's hard to find women who are none of these things.

Myrna, something tells me you could have easily reached 20. Then again, being a guy, I could give you 30.

2003-10-06 02:02:31 PM

2003-10-06 01:08:32 PM waitaminute...
Women who talk during sex.

Are you kidding, those are the greatest. When they are in the middle of a sentence you really sock it to 'em.

"You know those curtaaAAAAAGHHh"

2003-10-06 02:03:07 PM
You're the same as those man-haters that get their ass-grabbed and decide to hate men forever.

I wish some guy would grab my ass, I don't wear these leather pants that make my look GREAT for nothing.

2003-10-06 02:03:07 PM
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the tagline:

adam and eve, sittin' in the woods, eve said 'man i got somethin' real good - it's in that tree, you'll get smart fast!' adam said 'sure, satan my ass - i don't see no snakes but all women are bad' chorus: all women are bad, all women are bad, that's what he said, all women are bad, groovy wiggly tails, horns on their head, all women are bad, all women are bad... samson and delilah, talkin' bout groomin', delilah said 'sam, you don't look human!' took some scissors, went snip-snip, said 'now everybody's gunna think you're hip' sam felt his head and said 'all women are bad' there's one with you, lookin' so sweet, but she's just a wolf dressed up like sheep, secret gadgets up under their clothes - stuff you hear about but nobody knows, and it ain't no use...all women are bad save me the label of that perfume on the table, so i can remember what made a wreck of me

2003-10-06 02:03:45 PM
Myrna is straight on. I had a Fawner once and he about drove me batty. And his name formed a complete sentence; that was the most interesting thing about him

Fawners are the worst. It's hard to have respect for someone who lets you walk all over them. You can't help but crave a person with an actual personality.

Reminds me of Coming to America:

"What's your favorite music?"
"Whatever you like."

2003-10-06 02:03:56 PM
My question is: what does that leave? Sounds like that covers about every woman I've ever met.

2003-10-06 02:04:07 PM
OMG - STOP ... POSTING ... ASKMEN.COM ... ARTICLES~!!

The only thing I can think of is that Drew has some sort of agreement to advertise for Askmen.com 'cuz these articles sure reek... lol.

Farkette Survey: What's your 10 Men to avoid list? That should be fun.

in no particular order.

#1 the clingy guy. You know the male version of the leech
#2 the frustrated musician. Yes I know you're a spectacular guitar player, but get a job already
#3 the gaming addict. I have no problem with gaming. I'll even join in. But it shouldn't rule your life 24/7
#4 the cheat - duh
#5 The too nice guy. The one who wants to do everything for you and be walked all over. Maybe some dominant chicks would kill for that but not me.
#6 The confused player. The type who likes to make it clear your nothing but a screw to them, but also seems to want to claim to be your SO.
#7 The fake bad boy. The type who has lots of tattoos and piercings and talks about how tough he is or how into satan he is.
#8 The guy who talks about how much he makes, how much his car is worth, etc..etc.. find a gold digger already.
#9 The lazy guy. The one who wants you to support him, clean up after him, fetch him a beer while the game is on...etc..
#10 The bragging nerd. Brains are incredibly sexy. But I like to notice them myself not have your IQ pointed out to me every 5 minutes.

Myrna-- i dont fall into a single one of those HAW!

2003-10-06 02:07:45 PM
MyrnaMinkoff

One girl did you wrong, so the entire female gender sucks?

Yeah, considering that on a scale from 1-10, what my ex did after many years of marriage and two kids, would be a 25.

So, yes, I feel perfectly justified in hating women as a group at this time. It'll pass, eventually, with lots of psychotropic drugs and many years of intensive psychotherapy.

2003-10-06 02:08:02 PM
Rosalea's list is much more general and accurate. Mine can now be disregarded.

(But it is still in full effect for me.)

2003-10-06 02:08:27 PM
so that leaves what... 3 women in the world?

2003-10-06 02:08:31 PM
22a.) Ex Mormons, even if they have infinite gams.
22b.) Well, mormons.

2003-10-06 02:09:08 PM
JQ Public you are so correct...

#22 No Unicorns

2003-10-06 02:09:20 PM
sorority girls? well, I wouldn't say avoid them, just after the night stand you can avoid them. what sucks is when you are in a frat, and you have to see 'em in the next mixer, and that just plain stinks... she'll bad-mouth you, and look at you bad.. but then she'll wanna "talk" again

/frat bro

Rosalea

oh yay another thread that will turn into women are evil and this is why.

Eh, it does that because most farkers are guys. Not only guys- bitter single guys/geeks.

(Not that I ever minded- they tend to make the best conversationalists. And the best prey.)

2003-10-06 02:09:34 PM
I think we should take all the girl stereotypes and all the guy stereotypes and try and match them up - you know, so if you ARE one of those you can quickly figure out who to date.

2003-10-06 02:09:42 PM
I didn't want to read all the comments, but I wanted to add something.

This is a list of women to avoid DATING...just dating.

/hump away.

2003-10-06 02:09:46 PM
ElVee, okay, fine.

As stupid as I think it is, I guess I understand. but it still pisses me off.

Rosalea. I got to #8 on your list. I'll finish the rest once my girlfriend brings me my beer.

Good job so far.

2003-10-06 02:11:33 PM
"Eh, it does that because most farkers are guys. Not only guys- bitter single guys/geeks"

uh.. no... I know lots of farkers who are totally the opposite... and party animals at that.

2003-10-06 02:11:51 PM
My ex was a stage hog (could't stand to let me talk on the phone), a gold digger (moved in, quit job), a master debater and in the end a cheater. I sure don't miss him. Who says the list has to be different for guys?

2003-10-06 02:12:00 PM
I think the religious freak girl has already been mentioned, but she should've made the list. I dated one; and soon found she wouldn't go to "bad" movies (only PG,and only then if they didn't curse), you couldn't say curse words around her, and tobacco and booze were of the devil. Aaand, premarital sex was evil; and not just the dirty deed itself but any physical contact deemed "too intense". Girl was hot as hell, but that relationship didn't last long.

JQPublic: and she collected ceramic kitty cats. (aaaah!)

2003-10-06 02:12:08 PM
men to avoid? here's my list:

- men who won't give a girl her space: "Why aren't you answering your cell phone? I've sent you 5 emails today! Now I'm IMing you and you're away from your desk... or are you? Hello? Stop ignoring me!"

- men who cheat (for obvious reasons). Worse is the men who cheat and lie to your face, even when presented with irrefutable evidence.

- pretty boys who use more hair products than you do

- mamma's boys, unless you like being with a man who can't even do his own laundry

- men who order girly drinks like fuzzy navels when they're out drinking

- men who reference LOTR, Star Wars, or any other sci-fi stuff within the first 5 minutes of initial conversation

- men who can't stop talking about what a biatch their ex was. If he's still talking about her, he's not over her.

- any man who thinks *NSync doesn't get the respect they deserve

- men who abuse their girlfriends/wives in any way. Goes without saying, but it's sad how many women put up with it.

- any man who compliments you on your designer boots, unless you're looking for a shopping partner.

I'm sure there are more, but these are what come to mind right now.

2003-10-06 02:14:00 PM
did I mention the whole $20K a year I make? yup, that's right.. i even bought my own toyota corolla... with RIMS! that's right... it's all mine... no parents involved.

/#8er on Rosaleas list.

2003-10-06 02:14:13 PM
No, ESH, I am not a master debater. I am, however, a masturbator (when a category-free man isn't available for servicing me).

This reminds me of a lot of guys who refer to every ex-girlfriend as "my psycho ex-girlfriend." This usually means she cried at some point. Women cry. It's a fact. If you can't deal with it, don't date them. Ever. It'll happen if they like you.

On the plus side, it doesn't mean that much when we do cry. Usually it means we're PMS-ing (this lasts a week, and it happens every month... It can seem like forever). Generally, it will go away after three minutes if left alone. Just breathe deep, nod and listen, and ride the wave. You will be rewarded with "understanding" sex afterwards. I Promise. If not, dump the psychotic biatch.

2003-10-06 02:15:01 PM
Going out on a limb here.

Askmen articles should stay.

They seem to be a catalyst for discussion. Other articles would love to have 100+ posts (assuming articles have egos). They may be a little lame, but the idea seems to be there. And being the brilliant farkers and farkettes that we are; we make funny and sometimes substantial posts because of them.

Wow. 10 pejorative categories into which I can sort the women I will meet and have known, but what am I to do if I meet a nice one? Does not compute, does not compute...

Women I avoid:

The Critic Something's always wrong with everything, no matter how good it may be

The Fashion Plate
Do you really need that much makeup on a camping trip?

The Lesbian I like you a lot, but you're packing the wrong equipment

Turn-ons: Self-confidence, kindness, sense of humor, shaved armpits, intellect, nice ankles

/sigh

Let's not forget The Momma's Boy who WANTS you to mother him, including making his meals, doing his laundry and washing behind his ears.

The O-Face - this is the guy who talks and makes jokes about sex all day long and in the sack it's the same thing: all talk. Whether he's a 20-second man or just completely into himself, you'll never get any satisfaction outta him. Reach for your Rabbit instead, girlfriend.

The Waffler - the guy who insists at the beginning that he's not looking for a relationship and you agree readily. However, within a month he's already crying about how he can't stand thinking about you being with other people and now wants to be exclusive.

The Commentator - He cannot let an attractive female walk by without ogling her or telling you how hot she is. Only done by guys with low self-esteem; he thinks if he keeps you "down" you'll never leave his sorry arse.
