As long as he keeps doing Psych for snow globe money, good for him.

I must confess to
a) a snow globe habit earlier in my life

and

b) a schoolgirl crush on Corbin Bernsen in the LA Law years.

I wasn't aware these two things were related, but I seem to have recovered from both.

Or you could be like Charlie Sheen and collect 8,000 types of venereal diseases.

It's kind of an odd thing for a man to collect, but I can think of a whole lot of other ways to spend money that are much more damaging.

Any one else remember the red paper clip guy trading the Kiss snow globe to him for a part in a movie? I remember reading that on here many years ago. I believe he traded the movie role for a house in Canada.

Do Amanda's clients know she lets those things in her house, or does Corbin keep them in his cave? (She did the house of one of my cousins)

"He says his collection is worth at least $500,000. He averages $75-$90 per globe in his purchases."

Uh... is that what his collection is worth, or is it what he paid for it?

penguin31: Why the fark isn't L.A. Law on DVD?

It has three strikes against it... it's an old show, it was a long running show, and worst of all Fox owns the show.

The only old show Fox ever treated right as far as getting it on DVD was MASH. Everything else, they either stopped after a couple seasons claiming low sales, or just never released it.

And, on top of that, they pretty much refuse to license their shows out for other companies to release, and if they do license a show out, they license it out season by season, so the show winds up being half released and never completed.

One of the best handlings of a long running show I've seen is how Universal just did Law and Order... all 20 seasons in one bigass box for 400-500 bucks, and they released the first 9 seasons in single packages already, and look like they'll be releasing more single season sets.

At the price for the big box, it averages out to a little over 20 bucks a set, which is cheap, especially when compared to the price of other Law and Order season sets.

I killed him last night. He wanted me to eliminate the BoS. That would make Veronica unhappy, if she's unhappy, there goes any chance I ever had at sleeping with Felicia Day.

He snagged a stunning British woman with one of the sexiest voices, IMHO, that I've heard in my life. And he's still working, unlike a lot of actors his age.

Corbin Bernsen is the man. Or at least the man I'd like to be when I hit that age.

/probably won't happen

Any straight man who consciously buys 8000+ snowglobes can NOT be sane. They just can't.

Also what the hell happened to him. Father time has not been kind to poor Corbin. He seems like crazy uncle Corbin who's fun for a laugh at family gatherings but you wouldn't introduce to any friends. For fear of him embarrassing you.

He's been on PSYCH for years, a show that has gone into $yndication. Having never seen LA LAW, he looks fine for his age. (Maybe if I had it would be a different story. But not everyone can age like John Stamos.)

He's doesn't sound nutty. If you have a lot of money, downtime, and a link to Ebay on your phone this sort of thing can happen pretty easily. Especially if you really enjoy collecting.

/not sure what's up with the mile-high comment though, sounds like he switched thoughts midway through

The more money you have, the more money you can spend on your psychosis.
