He's good enough. He's smart enough. But gosh darn it, people don't like him.

How much of a child molester must Mitt look like to be trumped by Newt?

The thing that I find funny is that Mitt is a Vulture Capitalist. He pretty much embodies everything the GOP economic platform is all about. It's the Mormon thing, obviously. I love that the GOP won't vault someone who has risen to the top by following their doctrine simply because he wears magic underwear. Amazing!

Give it a few days.

Well, whoopyf*ckingsnorp. I better re-align my entire sociopolitical point of view around which sociopath sucks less, this week.

2011-11-21 05:53:26 PM
In other news, 1 out of 4 Republican primary voters like Romney and the other 3 hate his farking guts and will never vote for him, and so cycle around the other ones whenever one of them starts picking up a bit of steam.

This.

Has Huntsman had a turn at the top yet? Who is left?

Amazing how all those "Values Voters" can overlook his shiatty multiple sick-wife dumping, philandering ways, AND his being the ONLY sitting Speaker of the House to ever be censured for ethics violations, and consider him to be their party's candidate of choice.

No, and I'm getting very worried about that.

Rick Santorum, Gary Johnson, Jon Huntsman, Buddy Roemer, Ron Paul.

I'm not sure "dethrone the usurper negro Bolshvik!" is a value.

It must be his stance on eliminating child labor laws that makes him so appealing to the Republican voters.

HUntsman is quiet, sane, and doesn't resort to whargarrbbl to get his points across.

The man has no chance in getting the nomination.

This is good news for all the children Gingrinch wants to put to work as janitors.

He is also a Mormon so like Romney evangelical won't vote for him. Santorm hasn't lead the polls yet he that week will be hilarious.

Man, the GOP really doesn't want to even have a chance of winnning do they?

'We hate an unelectable asshat like Perry... so let's go gaga over another unelectable asshat like Cain... ooh look, Newt, another unelectable asshat. Yes, let's go with him!'

At this rate, Zippy the Pinhead will be the frontrunner by the time the primaries get here.

2011-11-21 08:48:45 PM

I said this when he was at the top of the field earlier this year, and it's even more true today:

Newt Gingrich is a terrible human being.

2011-11-21 08:49:46 PM
Whatever. I could probably beat Romney for that stupid nomination.

This to the infinity power.

In the future, everyone will be the leading candidate for the GOP nomination for 15 minutes.

2011-11-21 08:51:39 PM
Whoa. Bear with me for just a moment. What if... what if Newt actually won the presidency? What kind of awful hell-hole would this country become?

2011-11-21 08:51:47 PM
Election isn't for a year. I DON'T CARE!!

2011-11-21 08:51:47 PM
Every election year, I am truely disappointed at the quality of the nominies that the parties put before us. Really, is this the best they got?

2011-11-21 08:52:48 PM
Obviously, the republican party has decided that we have NOBODY to run against 0bama and are waiting for the next election. So, how do we make sure that the best the left has to offer in 2016, is outvoted by the person we select? (Jindal? Walker? Seriously, who do we have here, guys?)

Guys? GUYS? I mean, I get it that we're gonna cede 2012 to 0bama...what do we have going for 16? Anyone? Seriously, WTF people?

2011-11-21 08:52:48 PM
If Mitt had any kind of self respect he would just retire now and say "Okay, go with Newt and good luck" ... then sit back and enjoy watching the GOP burst into flames.

It wouldn't last long, he'd leave us for a sexier, younger country pretty quick. One that isn't sick and gives better head.

2011-11-21 08:54:22 PM
I wonder how often Obamas campaign staff will play the "Child Labor laws are stupid" soundbite if Newt gets the nomination?

He's also got the same Mormon taint that Romney has -- the Southern religious right wouldn't vote for him.

Exactly. He can't bring the crazy the base wants. Santorum can and he's probably next after everybody remembers who Gingrich is. Once they've finished plunging Santorum's depths it will be time for actual voting and these random poll fluctuations will fall by the wayside.

I don't think we can allow Gingrich to win. His wife is either a crazy robot or a space alien.

Well-played, sir. It'll be a cold day in hell before we elect an actual liberal to the Oval Office.

Old white guy bereft of any discernible positive qualities....sounds about right for the GOP.

Sad thing is Obama is directly channeling Reagan circa 1984 in his positions and goals. All while the people who claim to worship Reagan call Obama a commie.

/Hate to say it, but Obama is the best Center-Right Republican president we have had since Clinton.

//Can't find anyone that the GOP has put up for a candidate since 2000 that could even remotely be considered an actual Republican.

their loss.
I'm not saying I'd vote for Huntsman, but he's the only republican running that I'd even be willing to consider.

2011-11-21 09:03:09 PM
What these R(etards) need to do is to find a fiscally conservative, social moderate who isn't interested in pandering to the mouth breathing bigots that make up their fanatical base. I will never consider voting Republican until they take it way back to center and get the fark out of the "morality" business. Farking sleazy hypocrites.

2011-11-21 09:03:13 PM
Dear GOP: I will vote for your party for the first time in my life if you nominate Gary Johnson, and would seriously consider it if you nominated Jon Huntsman.

Sincerely,
A disgruntled ex-Democrat who would nonetheless vote for Obama a million times before any of the embarrassing, anti-intellectual buffoons that hog the GOP spotlight.

2011-11-21 09:03:58 PM
Newt reprimanded for using a tax-exempt organization for political purposes and for providing false information to House Ethics Committee Gingrich?

RexTalionis: Rick Santorum, Gary Johnson, Jon Huntsman, Buddy Roemer, Ron Paul.

Santorum: has his own meme - thinks too much about bestiality.
Jon Huntsman: maybe they will finally pay him some attention after they wake up in the morning and find Newt Gingrich doesn't look so good with the beer goggles off.
Ron Paul: RON PAUL
Gary Johnson: who?
Buddy Roemer: who?
