Pretty tiresome argument, there. It's not about the criminals' actions - it's about ours. I'm pretty sure you can be pro-death penalty while still recognizing that it's a subject meriting solemnity as well sober introspection about what it means to be part of a society that implements it.

Your comment does nothing to highlight a reverence for justice or even retribution and it condemns the prisoners no more than they already have been but it does say a lot about the fitness of your own mind to engage in the debate about it.

I'll point out the obvious here: Unlike turkeys, death row inmates don't get pardons because of "luck," the pardoning power of the president and governor is there as a last ditch way to overturn an unjust, questionable, or otherwise judicially farked up death sentence. The author doesn't quite seem to get it

Never mind that pretty much EVERY commercially raised-for-food turkey has white feathers... Outside heritage breeds, anyway, and they're called heritage because hardly anyone raises them these days.
