Fortunately the GOP also have been tirelessly working to stop them from voting, so it sort of balances out. NOW WHOS LAUGHING.

Karl Rove's strategy to claim socially conservative Hispanics for the party ran into one roadblock. The rest of the party screaming "BUILD THAT THERE WALL HIGHER, CLEM!"

"We may just run clips of the Republican debates verbatim," Obama told reporters last week. "We won't even comment on them, we'll just run those in a loop on Univision and Telemundo, and people can make up their own minds."

Heh... Smart move. These debates have, time after time, confirmed some of the most negative stereotypes about Republicans.

But I thought they can't vote if they're all illegal.

The Tea Party is totally f*cking over the country and the GOP.

James!: Who knew being racist could backfire.

No shiat.
People ask me how I'm voting,
I tell them "not for the racist motherfarkers"
that shuts them up if they are rebubicans.

We have Eva Longoria. They have Marco Rubio.

make me some tea: But I thought they can't vote if they're all illegal.

ACORN will make sure they vote for the Democrat Party. So will Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny.

/Republicans actually believe this

Uncle Eazy: I want Cain to get the nomination just to watch the racists come completely unhinged.

Yeah but they probably love how openly he hates Mexicans and Muslims.

I actually visited a bunch of racist web forums once to see what they think about Herman Cain. It was pretty disturbing.

This is bad news... for Democrats.

The GOP needs to take their southern strategy further south and embrace their hate once again.

2011-11-21 03:13:43 PM
They don't want those votes anyway. The penmanship is horrid, and they reek of cilantro.

Time to break out the Robert Byrd Infinity gif. Because every time some butthurt rightie posts a picture of him, Democrats cower in terror....

DarnoKonrad: Education or Electric Fence isn't a hard choice.

Even though most people would choose Education, I prefer the more eclectic sound on Electric Fence. The introduction of synthesizers managed to make the music almost danceable yet was done tastefully enough to not let the electronic noise overwhelm the harmonies. I know a lot of people said it simply wasn't the same sound without the piano, but the guitar moving up a few keys helped smooth their sound a lot. I do agree with some of the complaints about the vocals, the key shift almost put the music out of range, but with the softer engineering, the voice breaks added a strong human element to many of the tracks.

NOT ALL THE GOP HATES HISPANICS! sigh...the loud fringe of racists has hijacked the party. Latinos (and blacks) are socially a lot closer to the GOP than the Dems, yet asshat teatarded "patriots" chase them out of the party. I'm sick of people saying the GOP as a whole is racist. Call out those who say the inflammatory statements, but leave the rest of the party out of it!

Maybe the Republicans should be calling out their racists rather than relying on others to do it.

It will be entertaining to watch history repeat itself.

African-American slaves were freed by a GOP president, and persecuted by Jim Crow Southern Democrats. Yet they are now one of the most solid "blue" voting blocs out there.

Lets see if the GOP can manage to sabotage themselves again in order to get a tighter grip on a shrinking voting bloc.

What if we hook a synthesizer up to the power meter on the fence, and have the sythesizer's tone change based upon the current draw. Hook it all up to a neural net. Wham! Education AND Electric Fence. *steps back from blackboard*

It would help if the Republicans called out those inflammatory statements if they disagreed with them.

No one is close to the Republicans. Come back when Repubs are not fringe extremists opposed to all public supports (except for unlimited spending on the biggest war machine in the history of mankind), opposed to all labor laws (except for those that make it harder for workers to exercise their rights), against taxation (except when it hurts people who really can't afford it), and against science period.

NPR did a story a few weeks ago where they interviewed the leader of a Republican group in one of the southwest states. She was angry because Cain and the other presidential hopefuls speak so dismissively about Hispanics. They treat them as if they aren't actual people. The woman went on to say that she agreed with their policies, but the language is so off-putting and demeaning to Hispanics that it completely turns them off from the party.

Until you and her and all the other sane Republicans start denouncing this, Hispanics will continue to see you as a party that hates them.

Their policies are racist, as well.

It's not just their language.

She's just upset that the bigots aren't trying to church it up.

You will see less than 10% of the house change hands, and you'll see as many seats in the deep south move to R as you see anywhere else move D. Hispanic population tend to be in Democratic areas anyway, and thanks to Gerry and his mander, there will not be any significant movement. when white Kansas starts voting D or Wyoming, Utah, Texas start going D then there will be something to say. But now you talking about moving D districts to more D and R districts to less R districts and that's it.
But keep hoping.
/System is broken.
//What we need is more leaders and less managers.

If you're tired of the GOP as a whole being called racist because a crazy fringe has taken over the party:

(1) Complain to the party leadership that idiots have hijacked your party, and/or
(2) Vote for people who aren't willing to invite that fringe into their party.

Don't blame the people observing your party from the outside for watching your party embrace racists.

The GOP doesn't want to electrocute ALL Mexicans, just the ones that come here ILLEGALLY.

For the ones that get here legally, the GOP just wants to make sure that they don't vote.

Anyone who is poor or middle class should be running from the republicans like they have a combination of leprosy and ebola with a side of hiv.

I believe a Fark independent made this statement about a flamboyantly corrupt Democrat (who virtually everyone on both sides ended up condemning after the fact, eliminating his point):

Their silence speaks volumes and is deafening.

So, basically, what you're saying is that "sane" (ie, only far right, not insane extremists) Republicans are the ignored fringe in your party. But we shoul dpay attention to them.

2011-11-21 03:27:16 PM
They will start caring when they are done grooming Rubio for a presidential run. The 2012 race is all but conceded already as the GOP clears out the old guard and the old standbys. I look for them to force Rubio and Ryan both us in 2016 as the new and improved GOP. It won't be either but it's what they will imply.
