It showed them studying. I did most of my studying in the library or between classes anyways.

Leaving the monitors on all night would drive me batty, especially for the guy that had to sleep across from it.

Door just wide open with no one inside for long stretches of time? These kids better STFU if any of their crap gets stolen.

It annoyed me to no end when my 2nd year roommate would leave his monitors on. Seriously. Shut them the hell off. That was second only to his dumbass idea of using that numa numa song as the alarm in the morning on his computer. Asshole.

Also, people leave their doors open all the time in dorms.

You guys should go to the Georgia Tech student center and check out all the kids sleeping everywhere in between classes with their laptops, cell phones, iPods, and iPads just sitting around for an hour or two.

My computers ran 24/7 and even I enabled a 10 minutes sleep on the monitors. Sleep isn't just some outdated feature in windows/Os X

Real dorm room life:

Four hours of sleep.
Sixteen hours of stuff outside of dorm.
Four hours of orgy with subbys mom.

Yeah, the whole random game party at 4 in the afternoon was strange and there was a severe lack of copious weed smoking. We would leave our room door open as long as we were in the vicinity, usually that was a sign that we were around and were open to visitors. Also the kept their room very clean. My roommate and I did as well, but there were certainly others that did not give a shiat and it showed.

Exactly what I was thinking. Lots of expensive electronics sitting around. No one thinks about it until something gets stolen.

If only they did this in my dorm at SDSU...all the debauchery that went down there...a bang-bang-bangity-bang I said ah bang-bang-bangity-bang. I miss college so much :'(

there was an alarming absence of marijuana and alcohol intake at that dorm.

When I was in college, only the rich kids had computers in their rooms.

And nickles had bees on them.

I know that was not a real dorm because it was too big and girls looked like they were hanging out there.

No beer bottles? No liquor bottles? No vomit? That was not college.

I remember alot more smoke and liquor. Actually scratch that. I don't seem to recall very much of anything occuring in the dorm... huh.. now that is odd.

Avoid the dorms if possible.

They suck.

Your kegger, weed farm, humping the cheerleeding squad in alphabetical order will all be more successful in your own off-campus home.
