I love it. Keep telling yourselves this isn't happening, bootlickers. The 15 minutes is almost over, right?

Still looking for a "leader" to blame, Rupert? Nobody knows who this guy is, and nobody's following him. Keep on pepper spraying the people. Morons.

No, no, they're all a bunch of dirty hippies looking for a handout.

2011-11-20 11:55:35 AM
You wanted them to have jobs and bathe right?

Visitors can order 12-year-old Glenlivet scotch for $375 a bottle,

Highway robbery.

Dutro chose the five-star, 58-story hotel, with its lush rooms and 350-count Egyptian cotton sheets.

The rooms have 37-inch flat-screen TVs, window seats overlooking the city and iPod-dock alarm clocks. Visitors can order 12-year-old Glenlivet scotch for $375 a bottle, or an $18 pastrami sandwich, from room service. There's even a menu for four-legged guests, including a $16 dog dish of Niman Ranch ground beef.

Okay - this is why I farking HATE New York. The hotels there give you mediocre crap, call it luxury, and charge you out the ass for the privilege of being in New York.

"Luxury" 350 thread count? Kreist - Wal Mart sells 400s for $60 a set. iPod dock alarm clock - last Holiday Inn I stayed in had that. "High-end" Glenlivet 12-year-old for $375... oh don't even get me started, but it's a $30 bottle of the cheapest, lowest-common-denominator single-malt out there.

Fark you, New York. And double-fark YOU, W Hotels.

So if they sleep in a park they are dirty hippies, if they sleep in a hotel they are elitist posers. Make up your mind you righty biatches. Figure out what outrages you the most, then whine about it. Don't just whine about everything.

"Get a job and take a bath, hippies!"

*Hippies have jobs and take baths*

"Did you hear those hippies are staying in hotels that they paid for with their own money and are taking hot baths? The nerve of them!"

People who are protesting in the financial district are no longer allowed to camp outdoors. They choose to continue protesting in the financial district, and are paying, out of their own pockets, for local accommodations at prevailing market rates.

Most (sane) 99%ers are not saying "nobody's allowed to be rich".

We're saying "carry your goddamn weight in a society that's designed, top down, to protect YOUR interests."

Wealthy folk who understand that we need a healthily progressive tax structure aren't the problem.

Corporate types who understand that fact are also not the problem.

I have zero problem with people who are wealthy. I won't ever be one, but that's fine.

I'm saying that if you ARE rich, you need to be socially aware enough to act in your entire society's best interests.

Not just your tax bracket.

Sure I believe $1.50 bag of hotel peanuts to be marked up to 5$, a 300% markup.
But you're gonna tell me they marked up scotch 1000%?

So the right wing sets up a fake narrative which is that Occupy Wall Street is anti capitalism and anti rich people as opposed to it's stated goal which is taking corporate money out of politics and going back to a sane tax rate for the wealthy, then the right wing "proves" their own false narrative, proving nothing at all. Same as it ever was.

Oh yeah that's right, News Corp keeps telling you that these protests are a bunch of hobos wanting socialism and handouts, so you think this his hypocritical. Aren't you cute in your ignorance? *pinches cheek*
