There's the possibility that Second Mile was actually pimping boys out to donors.
So, no... Not remotely.

Even if there was no pimping, Sandusky raped or inappropriately touched something like 8 boys. The school knew about it and didn't contact the authorities.

Some schools' entire sports programs have been shut down for gambling or fixing games. But this is much worse. This was repeated child-rape.

Yeah, well, it's not like he was some sort of predator that set up a foundation in order to identify the most troubled and vulnerable kids and groom them for violation, all the while coercing their consent through gifts, bribes and threats. Hell, Penn state is hardly even involved. It's not like they set up a spot for him to be able to be alone with the kids, or helped him get kids by using their name. No, Penn state should just be left out of this, all they did was protect him when they knew that this was going on. And lets be honest, isn't a few boys assholes a small price to pay for FOOBALL!

On a serious note, I wonder how many f those poor kids will end up doing the same thing to other kids later in life, and so on and so forth...

As I mentioned elsewhere... it is interesting that supposedly the victims are supposed to remain "unnamed" but, between "According to the infamous grand jury report in the Sandusky case, the person identified as Victim #4 participated in "a video made about linebackers that featured Sandusky." and elsewhere in the GJ report it also says that the victim was in a photo with Sandusky in Sports Illustrated. Between those two things, seems like it would be pretty easy to identify the victim.

No. Fact is at this point you have 2 high level university employees who have been indicted on perjury charges. These charges stem from an investigation over whether or not a once and pseudo university employee raped young boys on campus. The alleged rapist at this point has at the very least admitted to inappropriate behavior with some boys. Further, it certainly appears at least one up until last week current employee has seen the alleged perpetrator in criminal acts (read anal rape) and nothing was done about it. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say nothing was done? I meant the employee never contacted the police and was shortly thereafter promoted. So... you tell me, does it sound like the fall has been too much? At this point, 3 people have lost their job and one is on indefinite leave. And that's about it

I stand corrected. My error. None have been shut down for gambling. I was thinking of the 1951 UK scandal which involved point fixing with gamblers. But I phrased it wrong.

ehhhh.... sometimes sex with boys trumps money.

Just look at the catholic priests as an example.

They're got all that money and they're still willing to risk all of that in order to have sex with young boys.

Even this:

kenraggio.com

doesn't match the overpowering feeling for catholic priests wanting to have sex with young boys.

Wonder what wasn't in the Grand Jury report. It had a focus of finding out details about Sandusky. It also doesn't follow the rules for what would normally occur in a court room.

There is no mention of what information was passed back to Paterno from Schultz and Curley from their interview with McQueary. They also state that they thought that CPS was involved. It may be that McQueary told them he same line that he is making now, that he was talking to the police.

If someone told you that CPS or the police were involved, you wouldn't jump to the conclusion that they are lying to you and launch your own side investigation. It also wouldnt make sense to call CPS either as they wouldnt tell you if anyone had called or if there was an investigation.

Don't believe me? Call up your CPS and ask them if they are conducting an investigation into a specific person. Their response should be 'We can not comment to the positive or negative.'
