The Stealth Hippopotamus: the years have not been kind.

But when have they ever?

Salma Hayek and Monica Belucci are up in their 40s and look great.. And they both played vampires. Coincidence?

She still looks good now, but when she was younger Elizabeth Shue was so hot. She made "Leaving Las Vegas" worth watching.

WTF CBS? LET CSI DIAF.

I remember China Beach and I though Marg Helgenberger was HOT. Now she looks like a wax mannequin, I like a well put together woman. But getting your face done so you have the look of a barbie doll is frightening.

Ease off the botox and have a sammich and we can try again.

She was pretty hot (and a little naked) in Species too. Red heads with fair skin don't age well unless they stay out of the sun at all times.

.....I remember watching China Beach as a kid. Good show. I especially liked the Special Episode where Marg Helgenberger and Dana Delany got drunk and....wait, that may have occurred only in my mind.

Ah, the Walternate Brandi Chastain.

I can't watch her in that show without staring at her farked up lips.

which still a few years away, which is not good news for Ms. Shue's skin regimen.

We will always have Karate Kid, Cocktail, and the that invisible man flick with Kevin Bacon.

Well she fell victim to the old hollywood myth that its because an actress is too heavy is the reason she's not getting roles, she looked better with a few extra pounds.

I can see why Marg would want to leave CSI., It was such a great career move for Gary Dourdan.

Gary didn't really have much of a choice. And, I gather, given his lack of career success, the booze and drugs they fired him for are still an issue.

I'm surprised. Her last trip to Vegas didn't end well, what with the ass rape and the man she fell in love with drinking himself to death.

That movie really shouldn't have been marketed as the "Feel Good Movie of the Holiday Season". Maybe it's just me but I thought it sort of portrayed alcoholism as having a down side. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood.

I don't see why people criticize actors for doing this. Leaving a gig doesn't have to be a "career move" thing. The woman has been starring in one of the biggest shows on TV for 12 years. Maybe she wants to do something else before she dies, whether it's more successful or not. Maybe she doesn't want to do anything, and just have more free time to enjoy the piles of money she has hopefully saved up.

I've had the hots for her since that movie. Most blondes I can take them or leave them, but she's one of those that got stuck in my mind right off the bat and never left.

Yeah, looks like she's gotten older, haven't we all? At least she hasn't pulled a Nikki Cox. I'd still disappoint the hell out of her.

Purposely mistaking one actress for another is a common Fark gag. Also, they like to pick on Anne Frank. You know, the one who couldn't see or hear.

I read within the last 2 or 3 weeks that he got arrested for punching his girlfriend in the face or something. Doesn't sound like he's doing much better.

Always have had a crush on Shue, ever since "Adventures in Babysitting.

Though I think she was at her hottest in "The Saint"

That scene in the embassy near the end when her hair is kinda damp makes me whimper like a lost puppy for some reason.

"Bad Santa" is my go to holiday movie, a heart warming tale of the redemptive power of love.

I can't tell if my sarcasm meter is just malfunctioning, or what.

Elisabeth Shue played Jennifer (Marty's girlfriend/wife) in Back to the Future 2 and 3. She was done up in aging makeup to make her look 30 years older in Back to the Future 2.

obligatory. (new window)

Aside: doesn't that craptacular-looking upcoming Jonah Hill vehicle "The Sitter" resemble nothing so much as an all-but-in-name remake of "Adventures In Babysitting"?

No one ages like East Indian women. Blazing hot until they hit their mid-30s, then they turn butt ugly and gain 100 pounds.

And I'll just leave this here:

Marg has done pretty well, kept it together all these years.
11 years on a show should set anyone for life.
