Spanksgiving has a long tradition of being one of the best and largest kink conventions in the country, sharing this honor with other events like Beyond Vanilla, Thunder In The Mountains, Kink Fest, and the list goes on. It's disheartening that the city council had such a good arrangement for so long with the organizers and now, because people try to legislate morality, this storied event could go away entirely.

I understand that some folks don't grok to what us kinksters do. I get it, I do, and I agree that it can be rather odd on its face.. but for the love of God, why can't people just be left to their own devices? Both figurative and literal.

I'm wondering what exactly they're worried about with vendors... That they might sell the kind of stuff you find in a tack shop or hardware store?
