I wish I had done this sooner, but basically we're looking for anyone participating in Movember that is thus far unaffiliated with a Movember team to join Team Fark. (and of course, donations are also appreciated)

Here's the info directly from the Movember site:

Moustache Season is upon us, so I've registered for Movember to embrace the hair of the wild. I've pledged to cultivate a genuine 100% face grown moustache for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for men's health, specifically cancers affecting men.

Now, I'm on the hunt for trusty and fearless pioneers to join me by signing up for my team. Together we can change the face of men's health.

To join my Movember team go to Team Fark (new window).

Did you know that 1 in 6 American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

As more people become Citizens of Movember, more lives will be impacted. You can grow a moustache as a Mo Bro, or join as a Mo Sista to show your support and help recruit other Mo growers to the team.

Once registered, Movember will send you all the information you need to start raising awareness and funds for men's health as part of my Movember team.

If you'd like to find out more about the programs funded by Movember, please visit http://us.movember.com/about.

Please join us at https://www.movember.com/us/register/details/team_id/391362.

I'd join you, the group I was going to be in disintegrated, and I haven't saved since the 1st just in case, but I can't find your group.

I'll check it out when I get home. My current team is kinda not really doing anything (not that I'm having any success having people donate), so hey, why not?

Everyone knows breast cancer is the only real cancer.

I'm behind you 100%, full unconditional support

Is the fellow with the brostache invited to this party?

I was on my work's team the past two years, but wasn't able to do it this year unfortunately. It seems like I'm hearing about it all the time now, nice to hear it's really caught on!

I've been trying to grow my moustache out but progress has been incredibly slow.

However my father has a moustache so epic that it's how people bring him up in conversation. "You mean the one with the moustache?" "Oh wow, your dad's the moustache guy?"

I shall pass the word on to him and see if I can get him on Team Fark.

On the move right now so I can answer any questions later, but if the link isn't working for anyone, just search for the team name "Fark"

my page is here: http://mobro.co/vincze and you can click on the team there as well.

I'm a woman of Swedish decent but I can draw a mustache on in a show of solidarity.

Team Fark!

My father kicked Prostate cancer in the nuts.

What are you people, nuts???

Soon FARK will have its own cry babies like Jimmy Wales on Wikipedia or fundrasers like NPR.

While I can appreciate Movember, I think I prefer Cinco-de-Moustache. The stache looks way more absurd when you're in boardies and sandals, and almost looks too common place or expected when in jeans and flannel.

I can't participate; I already have a facial hair ritual.

Every year when my son gets out of school for summer break I shave clean and then grow a Van Dyke.

Every year when my son gets back into school after summer break I shave clean and then grow a full beard.

I'd have participated, but having started the month with a handlebar and goatee already, I'm not allowed to participate. I will however donate to at least one team, good cause and all.

If you happen to have a substantial mustache, I do recommend a good wax, like the Firehouse brand. Puts Clubman and others to shame.

Funny... I just heard of movember a few days ago, and I was going to shave my beard off and keep the 'stache soon anyway. Its time for the Grizzly Adams look to go.

The only issue here is that LiveStrong is involved.

I'd love to grow a mustache, just to compare pics of myself with my father to see if I'm right and I look more like him than mom. But seeing how kickass his mustache was....

...I'm not sure I have the time to wait for that to grow in!

Sorry, but I'm staying with John Axford's Team.
His mustache tells me what to do.

I'll join up, but I'm cannot shave my existing beard. I've been told I scare men, women, and children when I am beardless.

And when I am just with a mustache, I look like the Unabomber.

i think you have to email support and tell them your username, the team you're on and the team you want to be on. They need someone to clean up software for the site. I've noticed if you direct link to stuff on your mospace, many times the autoloader redirects logged in mobros to their own mospace.

I would love to help, but sadly, I have no facial hair to grow. I tried to get my son to do it, but sadly, his facial hair is a bit sparse yet (he's 19) and blonde, so it really doesn't tend to look right.

I can give money?

Sure, you can donate to any of the members of Team Fark. (I don't know how to link to the team, but if you go to my mospace (new window), there is a list of team members on the right hand side.)

So let me get this straight here.

By doing LESS than you normally do(shaving) you want people to donate money to a cause you support?

Growing a mustache a lot harder than shaving. You have to resist the strong temptation and societal pressure to shave that thing off every day.

Not to mention (but totally to mention.. what a weird expression that is), I've also made a commercial (new window) and wrote a theme song (new window) for Movember stuff.

I'll join since I'm not affiliated with a team. My 'stache is a sad, ragged thing. In my gene pool, it's the women that grow nice facial hair.

Yeah, this. You not only still have to shave (goatees and beards don't count, cheaters), but you become extremely self conscious walking around looking like a sex offender. Every day it's tempting to just opt out.
