Christ of a cracker! I misread the headlines as Mark Hamill and nearly choked on my Snickers.

That sucks. He was the ace. He was amazing. He was the quickest, he was the strongest, he was the best.

As you can tell by my user name, big fan of DM and very sad about this. Colonel K, Penfold, even the evil Greenback and Nero are crying over this :(

Fond memories of DM. Have recently been getting my 4 year old son into some older cartoons. He loves Animaniacs, Johnny Bravo, Flintstones, and other staples. Of course his favorite is a modern cartoon, Adventure Time. But that's ok, I admit to really liking that show. May have to show him some Danger Mouse.

Steady on, there. What do you do when you're falling?

DM show quotes I use in my every day life:
1) That's going to need a respray
2) I'm fluent in several languages but gibberish isn't one of them
3) It's the Fizz! (then my wife says the follow up line 'That's the fuzz you dolt')
4) Oh I'm VERY sorry (the way Penfold does it)
5) I'll do Wormablid Custard Mite of Glut impressions on occasion.
6) Just a little chew up and chew down (The welsh dragon one has many lines (Damsel jam for tea, interfering with a goverment official going about his lawful panic, to wit, knocking off Penfold, A frock?, best episode EVER IMHO)

Oh man, I haven't thought of Danger Mouse in years, I used to love that as a kid. Didn't they also show small episodes of Bananaman during the show too?

Introduced my six year old to DM -- many episodes are on YouTube. Second best reason (after Lego) for having children.

Never heard of Return Show. Maybe you ment Regular Show and got screwed by an auto correct? If so I do like Reguar Show. And I thank you for your comments. I love watching cartoons and playing with toys with my boy. They have some really good toys now and he gives me an excuse to play with them :) Love playing in the yard with him, and Nerf guns, and LEGO Star Wars on the XBox. Heh.

Even with commercials this was not enough to fill the allotted time, so episodes of the British cartoon Bananaman (among other animated short films) were aired alongside it to fill the remaining time.

//Penfold is very popular Chief. He's got a fanclub in Wilsdon Green that has neeeearrrllly four members. And he's starting another one. I mean... another one's starting in Barnsley... if he can get to Barnsley.

I haz a sad. Quite enjoyed DM and Count Duckula as a youngster

I used to buy Count Duckula comics, mostly for the backup Danger Mouse story. I remember it being a pretty clever and funny show. Guess it's time to check out the interwebs for some cartoons.

Last year I watched the entire series from season 1 through (I think) 10. Somewhere towards the end it got even more bizarre and I don't believe I ever saw anything past season 3 or 4 as a kid. It was fun to re-discover the series.
