They portrayed it that way regarding lesbians towards gay/trans/bi on a recent SVU episode(not that SVU is reality). Kathy Griffin playing the militant lesbo activist who turns bi and gets shunned by her lesbo friends, actually entertaining, though her face is getting scarier by the day.

As girl I say that women should belong in the kitchen and all that 1950s point of views of males only for the lulz. I do hate a lot of women though, but only because some of my best friends are males, and the shiat I seen them go through because of females pisses me off. I know men do it to women to, but women are cunning and plan this shiat, men don't really think they just do. Plus I really hate hanging out with chics in a group all they do is talk about dildos, sex, and how they tease men and walk away. Also they have to go shopping for hours at a time to try stuff on they know they will never buy.

The primary thing the article makes clear is that the kid sounds like a douche. It seems as if he/she (seems to want it all) latched onto the "defect" part, "I'm not defective, you bastard!", without actually understanding what was really being expressed.
