Had the pleasure of interviewing Reege a few years ago for a magazine piece--he was the same chipper and pleasant guy you see on TV, and treated a no-name hack like myself as if we had been friends for years. Just a smart and funny professional who completely "gets it." Nice guy.

Back in the '60s when he was doing his thing locally in San Diego my dad ran into him and his wife, not his current wife but his wife at the time, at some event. Reege was glad handing and doing his self promotion so my dad started chatting up his wife. One thing leads to another and pops takes her back to their house where he proceeds to boink the crap out of her all over the place. My dad tells me there were pictures of him in every square inch of the place and no pictures of family or friends or anything just him. Fast forward to last year I had the chance to meet him in Vegas as we happened to be staying at the same hotel. I was really really drunk and proceeded to tell him the story, I know it was uncalled for but I was Vegas drunk. He actually was pretty cool and simply said "That's why she's my ex-wife."

Same here. The first time I ever saw her face, I said to myself "I despise this woman completely and with all of my being". I suspect she may be an Outsider, or perhaps some new form of Low Man.

He was an annoying cockmongler on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Granted, everyone associated with that show was annoying, but primarily I associate him sitting with some waterhead for fifteen minutes while they try to puzzle out some eigth grade history question, with that goofy cheerful/dramatic look on his face.

KLG is a horrible human being, but she used to really 'do it' for me.

Mugato: I never understood what he "did". I suppose he exhales carbon dioxide which is necessary for all manner of plant life but other than that, what did he do? Find a way to get someone to pay him more money than I'll ever see, I guess that's a plus.

What he got paid is proportional to how entertaining he was. You on the other hand owe Drew $5/month.
