It depends. Can they find two actors who are bad enough dudes to save the President?

Sid_6.7: Can they find two actors who are bad enough dudes to save the President?

I certainly hope so. President Ronnie isn't going to rescue himself from the ninjas.

It will be 8 hours of monotony ended by a black screen with the word "Congratulation"?

Giant monster arcade game? Nope, I don't remember that one.

Sounds like there's nothing there to build a story on. They'd be better off with Wizardry. "MAHALITO!"

Well, you officially fail at video games.

Rampage is SEMINAL. It's one of the first and and best video games where the character is the bad bad guy.

It's the perfect blend of co-op and deathmatch as well. Nice balanced mayhem.

Not to mention is the lizard is a chick and you see her boobies when you die.

For co-op out about the same time I really liked Xenophobia. Once you got used to the 3 way split screen it was farking cool.

Actually, that sounds like a really fun idea for a movie.

This movie was fun, back when it was called King Kong Vs. Godzilla.

So a movie based on a game that was based on a series of movies. Oh, and it's basically been done already, anyway:

Well before that I say we create a movie based on Time Crisis or Smash Tv. I also want a movie based on Megaman X.

Elevator Action!

Bionic Commando!

Gun.Smoke!
Rush'n'Attack!

Final Fight!

Altered Beast!

Golden Axe!!

Where's my screenwriting checks? I can pump each of those out in a few hours each, and half of them would be directed by Michael Bay.

Day 37

Peoria

/I CAN'T WAIT!

2011-11-18 09:42:09 AM
Hm. On the one hand I want to be excited for this because I don't see how they can mess it up.

On the other hand I can see exactly how they're going to mess it up.

The problem is the monsters aren't relatable, and 90 minutes of them trashing buildings doesn't make a good story. So instead the stars of the movie will be the humans trying to stop the monsters, making the monsters an afterthought.

Unless they go the alternate route and make George, Lizzie and Ralph into wise-cracking CGI hucksters. I'm not sure which would be worse.

spidermann: Elevator Action!

Bionic Commando!Original or that new game, where he has the massive arm?

Gun.Smoke!
Rush'n'Attack!

Final Fight!WITHOUT the spaceships this time, please.

Altered Beast! Good lord, did I love that game...it hated me, though.

Golden Axe!!Problem is, it's got too generic of a fantasy story. The hard part is distinguishing it from, oh...Beastmaster.

Where's my screenwriting checks? I can pump each of those out in a few hours each, and half of them would be directed by Michael Bay.

Bubble Bobble: The Movie!

Though seriously, Ghosts 'n' Goblins might not make that bad of a movie.

Description of the game:
George, Lizzy and Ralph were just ordinary Americans, until an experiment went wrong, turning them into a Gorilla, Lizard and Werewolf respectively.

You will need to eat regularly, with things like plants on offer, to avoid shrinking back to being human.

So I guess the plot of the movie will be to keep them from eating?

texdent: But seriously seriously, we need a Legend of Zelda movie.

Which game? Way I see it, you have a few options:

Ocarina of Time: It's one of the most popular Zelda games, and has a nicely coherent story. Of course, 2/3s of the movie will take place in the Water Temple, so that might get dull.

Link to the Past: Again, wildly popular, but, from what I remember, not much of a story. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Skyward Sword: Not out yet, but it seems to have an "origin story" vibe to the plot, from things I've read.

Get the Valve guys to write a movie in the Black Mesa/Aperture Science universe. Portal 2 is one of the few games where I enjoyed the wit, characters and plot.

cefm: They did a Double Dragon movie, so why not?

Shyeah, right. Next you'll tell me that Marc Dacascos and Scott Wolf were the Brothers, and Alyssa Milano was Marian. And I bet you'll even try to get me to believe that Robert Patrick, the T-1000, for god's sake, was the bad guy!
