Should market it as the exclusive "No-More-Tumors" formula.

Jerry Sandusky used "No More Tears" as an anal lube because he misread the last word.

All the good stuff is probably in the cancer-causing parts.

"Johnson and Johnson announced they will remove potentially cancerous compounds from baby shampoo within two years. "

"Johnson and Johnson has already removed the chemicals from products sold in the United Kingdom and other countries."

Unbelievable. You can almost hear them saying "We need to take out those cancer causing chemicals we put in our baby shampoo that we sell in the UK. But not in America, not for a few more years."

They can fark up Band-Aids and Tylenol, shampoo isn't that big of a stretch of the imagination.

I remember when Johnson & Johnson was a respected name.

The amount of formaldehyde in these products is pretty similar to the amount found in vaccines. Two different products, two different responses from Fark.

I am just curious what these chemicals are. Parabens? Phthalates? Sufates? it seems that naming those might actually be of interest to people who want to screen their shampoos/personal care products and wonder why they left the names of these out of the story.

Well it would be. That's probably why they didn't.

The level of formaldehyde found in baby shampoo is less than the amount found in babies.

Sodium Lareth Sulfide, present in most shampoo, is a known carginogen. Amongst other things.

/Prefers green shampoos.
//Nothing to do with the environment. But will help me stay alive!

If you mean sodium laureth sulfate, it's not carcinogenic. According to Snopes, it could be due to confusion with ethanolamine laureth sulfate, which some manufacturers used back in the 70s. But then again, some of the green product makers rely on gullibility in their consumers, so pretend you didn't read this.

The Snopes article also mentions trace amounts of formaldehyde and dioxane in baby bath products. This is probably what J&J is removing.

Fark Johnson and Johnson. They buy crap from China and charge premium prices for it.

I don't use J&J. I use Baby Magic.

Time to check the bottles.
