No word if Woody was sent up there to find him.

At least it was a Buzz Lightyear, because he never would have heard the end of it if he had gotten a woody stuck in his ass.

To infinity and beyond behind?

Huh, no pics of Jerry Sandusky. Was there no camera present?

Well asstronauts are much more likely to be found near Uranus.

OK on a serious note. doesn't releasing these photos violate patient privacy laws?

If there's no way to identify anyone just by the photos, how is it violating anyone's privacy?

Do you normally identify people by their spines, pelvic bones and/or things in their ass?

Actually, they did - they're easier to see when Butt Lightyear is flipped the right way up, though:

If the person see's that doctor's are profiting off their medical history then there's a problem. They can identify themselves with medical records and sue the doctor for releasing any sort of information.

I'm pretty sure that if I had ever had to visit the ER due to "slipping" on oh, lets just say Man-E-Faces, I wouldn't be making that public knowledge for a few bucks.

It would probably be more than a few bucks as he violated doctor-patient confidentiality while doing this book too. Is it embarrassing? Yes. Is there a potential pay day worth the embarrassment? Maybe.

Cool story bro time.

I used to work as a medic at a class II trauma center/ER. One night we had a guy come in that had that shameful, yet painful look on his face. Turned out he had a xxl vibrator slip out of his hands and become completely submerged in his turd cutter while it was still running. Turns out this guy is a word renowned doctor and medical professor at Washington University in St Louis and made the 3 hour drive all the way down here to Springfield Missouri so no one would know about the incident. Me and the charge nurse were the two who brought him back into the room to do the initial. Knowing about how he couldnt tell anyone about the incident and wouldnt complain no matter what happened, my charge nurse actually asked the guy if he wanted us to remove it or just change the batteries for him.

regardless of the legal ramifications of publishing it, it's probly the single most blatant violation of the hippocratic oath i've ever seen. That being said, i'm thankfully amused someone made said violation to share this with the world.

Actually, in almost all cases, x-rays are owned by the entity that took them (dentist, ER doctor, etc). As long as there's no information related to identifying the patient, there's also no HIPAA violation.
