I could see how that movie would not age well - I saw it in the theatre when it came out in 95 and it was alright back then.

"Angie's List"...I love it.

Their TV ads trying to become big like Craigslist always made me think of Mean Girls and

Give it up- "fetch" isn't going to happen.

*cough* Zynga *cough*

Seriously though, when your IPO involves demanding stock options back from your employees, then telling them that it's because you're smarter than they are -- it's a farking scam.

The real problem is that I developed my cyber crime movie allegiances early:

i.telegraph.co.uk

I saw The Net pretty soon after it came out. It just wasn't as exciting.

I still don't see how anyone could buy into service tech stocks. Way too volatile.

video man: I still don't see how anyone could buy into service tech stocks. Way too volatile.

High volatility is something that a lot of active traders like. The only way to really learn to be comfortable with a lot of volatility is to do two things: 1) Think of your investment as play money - the money would not have been used if not for the game, and 2) Become completely comfortable in the fact that you could lose it all.

Man, things like this always make me wish I was less ethical. If stupid people are going to be parted from their money anyway, why shouldn't I be the recipient?
