As someone who frequents both Reddit and Fark on a daily basis, its actually a bit embarrassing how frequently the latter poaches the former for greens.

I realize that popular internet links are popular, but seriously, if someone could produce a script that automatically submitted every link that reached Reddit's mainpage into Fark submission queue, no less than a third of them would get greenlit on a daily basis. That's how consistently Reddit material becomes a Fark green a day later.

Eh, I'm ok with this, it saves me from having to go to Reddit.

I was still a little pissed about watching the stupid Atlanta Braves video, and this just perked me right up (the butt). I have great respect for people that patiently put together a clever mashup like this.

+1, subby

I agree, Reddit might as well be a search engine.

I like Fark's format better besides it is not like I am after real breaking news on Fark, so whether I see something today or tomorrow makes no difference to me.

That and every time I see a post like this I get a little happy knowing that if I ever felt like it I could become an even bigger douche than I already am just by going to reddit.

But mostly I like Fark's format more than reddit's.

Brilliant Subby. +1

And on the other topic... Ditto on the Fark > Reddit .... ergo I don't visit reddit and could care less what shows up where first. If some of our altruistic farkers take the hit of getting through the crappy reddit interface and sort out a couple gems, than I am more than happy to reap the benefits.

100% agreed. Reddit is like the internet puked all into one place. I hate that site, and if the few golden nuggets that make it there get filtered through and posted here, great.

Claiming to have seen it on reddit first is the new "Haha, I got the 1 s t p o st!"

/hope filter doesn't change that to boobies

Funny to see all the Farkpologists playing the interface card. Of all Reddit's legit criticisms, bashing its interface customization vis a vis Fark is laughable, at best.

On Fark, I am powerless to avoid the myriad "Ooh, look at how fat celebrity XYZ is! LOL!" or "Wow, a person with red hair", or "My CSB about pretending to fellate Wil Wheaton/NPH". Its definitely not all bad (or I'd stop bothering), but it is repetitive, and impossible to filter.

On Reddit, I downvote something, I never see it again. Maybe its just me, but I prefer not having to keep looking at shiat I deem stupid. Carry on.

I'd like to see both these videos playing endlessly on the Best Buy's wall of video.

So that video came from reddit then? I thought it came from Youtube.
