The last time US forces were deployed against peaceable protestors exercising their 1st Amd. rights armed with live rounds, four innocent college students died, including at least one who wasn't involved in the protest at all. I'm somewhat doubtful that flamethrowers and nerve agents are going to be used any time soon, given the fallout from that debacle.

the protester's values differ slightly those of the author... so OBVIOUSLY the protesters need to die. That's what true freedom of speech and assembly mean, those with different views deserve execution. It's the same way that freedom of religion means that there are infinite paths to finding Jesus as your personal savior, and again, you deserve death if Jesus isn't your savior, or you choose one of those funky Jesus... like hippy-jesus or feed-the-starving-Jesus or clothe-the-poor-Jesus or the very worst: new-testament-Jesus. What the fark is that guy's problem? Why can't New-testament-brown-Jesus be more like the *REAL* Jesus, supply-side-NRA-republican-white-Jesus.
