Big Show and Shaq have had an ongoing feud for many years now. I think it would be a fun exhibition match to see them in the ring, as long as it only took a few minutes.
As much as I respect Akebono, his match against Show took up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time for a Wrestlemania.

No Line For Beer: Malone was pretty over with the fans as I recall. It probably had something to do with how popular DDP was at the time and how much time and effort he put into it. I'll agree with you that the Rodman appearances added absolutely nothing.

Malone worked his ass off, spent a lot of time actually learning pro wrestling before getting into the rin, just so he wouldn't make a fool out of himself like Rodman did.

I will admit Malone did put some effort into his performance.

However, the point is that the money paid to Malone and Rodman wasn't really worth what WCW got in return as far as TV Ratings and PPV buyrates go.

Y'know, the TNF football thread became all Tebow this and U H8 CHRISTIANS that last night, but I have to say... Shawn Michaels and his religion doesn't bother me a bit.
