This is something that would totally screw with future archaeologists. Coils of wire, with a base meant to fit on a head, WTF?!

Makes me think of all the ancient crap we dig up and how wrong we probably are about what we think certain artifacts were used for.

Tesle coil in the back, Van degraff in the front. actually the one in front but half off camera is a tesla coil but has some kinda weird dome on top so I might have just answered my own question.
Built a Tesla coil for an 8th grade science fair project in 1970.

While the voltage is very high, the current is very low (extra low considering the size) so there is really more danger of the batteries falling on someones foot.
