Not quite the same, but I just found out that the first two Elder Scrolls games (Daggerfall and Arena) have been released as freeware.

Just saw the port of MGS to the 360...I might pick that up.

Would have been more happy if the original MGS was on that list...I loved that game so much.

This. Number one isn't even a remaster, it is a port. "optimised[sic] controls for console pads" just means it can be played using the PS3 controller and "advanced rendering techniques" is just saying it uses the PS3 hardware.

Seems I was waiting for Classics from the NES up to the SNES to be on the list... Seems I was wrong. And no mention of PoP Remastered. Not Sands of Time Trilogy, I ment the original one that is on the PSN and Live.

What little I have played of the Elder Scrolls series, Mainly Oblivion and some of Marrowind. I dont think its the time line that matters... But being able to explore the area in general. I think there was a Marrowind mod for Oblivion that I tried to download and install... but sadly, it didnt work and it was one that allowed me to explore Marrowind.

Just got the Halo 10 year Anniversary issue. Remastered everything including making it letterbox for the 360. New music, the whole schmear. Playing it all over again.

with 5 minute attention spans? hell 5 years is up there with, like, decades. but seriously, people move on so fast from one thing to the next. a 5 year old game seems vintage to some.

Hell, I'll take the original X-Wing and Tie-Fighter that works on XP/Vista/7 without having to consult 14 FAQs and web forums to operate while installing 3rd party hacks.

If they took those games, updtaed the graphics and added LAN/WAN multiplayer, do you realize how many they would sell in the first week? It would be the new Tickle Me Elmo during Christmas three years ago. Make a special edition that adds in the Millenium Falcon as a flyable ship and you've got the recipe for "A thousand geeks all gasped in orgasm and then were suddenly silenced..."

Hmm...a lot of people in this thread seem to think the Elder Scrolls Series started with Morrowind....
