Oh, I dunno - most colleges have a "free film" series that routinely runs the movies Allen made before he became a tedious old wanker. And I have a feeling that as long as there are campus film societies, the Marx Bros and early Woody Allen will continue to be favorites.

I am convinced of this.

There's more cultural literacy in the entertainment tab (and the old music tab) on Fark than there is in most magazines or newspapers. Actually, if you skip the politics tab (where everything is "Tea Bagger!" or "Muslim Socialist!") there's an astonishing level of knowledge in the Fark comments section. I know I've had movies and books recommended to me in comments that I've enjoyed and would have otherwise never encountered.

That being said, most of us still come here to fark off during work. Let's face it - the internets was invented to amuse and distract all us overeducated and under-utilized worker bees. If we didn't spend our day looking at bewbs and making snarky comments, we'd be up on a roof with a rifle.
