Both "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family" have been rebooted in the past. Post failed miserably. I predict more of the same for this reboot.

GAH!

"Both", not "Post".

FTFM

For the record:

The Addams Family are cooler/better than the Munsters.

/Original shows only.
//But I did like the movies when they came out back in the early 90s.

My favorite Munsters episode is when they rented their house to the Standells and Herman decided to become a Beatnik to get down with the kids.

Patrick Warburton already has a job on TV.

Note: THE MUNSTERS DOESN'T WORK IN COLOR. Their TV pilot from 1964 proved it.

Rhino records has rereleased every Monkees albums three times, scoured the vaults for every unreleased song, interview, and even incomplete backing tracks, and even pulled songs from acetate demo discs and from the soundtrack of a TV special so that every single thing the Monkees ever recorded has nearly been released.

The New Monkees one release has never been considered for rerelease.

That's how bad the New Monkees were.

Christopher Heyerdahl would make a great Herman Munster after make-up Fx.
He's a crazy half Norwegian - half Scottish farker.
Plus he's already 6'4" without the Munster boots.

It's not just because it was in color. Nate "Happy" Derman was horrible as Eddie Munster. Joan Marshall as Phoebe Munster (changed to Lily in the show) wasn't much better and looked way too much like Morticia Addams.

The pilot's theme music was awful too.

I thought the Addams Family movies were pretty good. Ricci was brilliant in them.

I still remember watching this laying on the couch after being hit by a car. it was an episode where the kids had taken over the family budget and hilarity did not ensue.

All true, though Marshall was a lot hotter than Yvonne DeCarlo (at least at that age of DeCarlo's life; she was smoking when she was a starlet)

Anybody else shocked when they found out Grandpa (played by Al Lewis, born in 1923) was one year younger than his "daughter" Lily (played by Yvonne De Carlo, born in 1922).
