I've not been to a Fark party yet.

The day after the Indy party. There are people I would like to see there, but it is probbly going to come down to proximity if I get to go to either.

Bagelox-99: How the fark does anyone in Elkhart know what time it is? I came in off the interstate once years ago and my watch was an hour off. Can't even remember which way.

/Also, I thought of Fark and Elkhart simultaneously and came up with Elkfart.

We stay with Eastern Time now. Cows are seriously confused, but they're getting used to it.

Thought about that, but after the Taco Bell Elkhart thread there was lots of interest, just wanted to get something throw together for the locals... Might still be down in Indy for that one too.

I'll just feel so terribly remiss if I don't experience that. I'll spend the rest of my life wondering, "why didn't I go see a bunch of pampered scholarship kids prance around a field for hours?"

Yeah. If I wind up going to one, I'll probably end up at the Elkhart one.

Of course after I move out of Indiana, there's tons of parties. Now I'm in a huge city and I haven't seen one available.

I know tons of people in the Elkhart, Michigan City, S.B., area. Makes me wish I could just hop a flight and make a huge trip to both of the parties while seeing friends and family. But such cannot be the case.

Also, there needs to be a PHX party soon.

In the thread about Elkhart we found out that a handful of us are from this area, and decided to have a little get-together.

I may even bring Taco Bell from the now-made-famous-by-Fark restaurant in the article.

Is the Courthouse Pub still there in Goshen? Used to be a cook there that got paid in Jack Daniels. His fry cooking got worse as he got more plastered. Damn fine hole in the wall.

They have a facebook page, so I would say yes. Yes it is still there.

I would like to add that I'm okay with dead pets being brought to the Indy Fark party. We aren't prudes like those Michianans are!

Hi Kids! Everything is still on track, would be great if we could get a couple more definites.

I popped in and spoke briefly to Derek, one of the bartenders, it was kinda funny that someone had beaten me to the punch and had let them know Lakeshore is already Fark famous and we haven't even stormed the place yet. As usual, our reputation precedes us I guess.

And an FYI, they do accept Cash, All forms of plastic (at least Visa/Mastercard), being in Northern Indiana not too far from Amish land, they may even accept Quilts and Cheese, although I wouldn't count on it.
