Nice, but I wish this one

could've been more original, and not merely a copy of this 1925 movie poster:

Yeah, but where would they have fit him? I mean, it's not like he's Batman!

I love art deco. It's representative of the world that should have been.

I am reasonably sure that they are all 'reimagines' of popular art-deco posters. the "Ghotham Justic" is based on a Bauhaus poster and on of the Iron-Man was based on a poster of the SS Normandie:

I can't place the others right now, but some of them look rather familiar.

Hmmm. I feel like those are only marginally art deco. They're art-deco-ish.

Seeing as they are based on actual original art-deco posters, they are pretty much art-deco by definition. A. M. Cassandre (who after some GIS I realized) made the original not just the first Iron-Man poster(NORMANDIE), nut also the Green Hornet (TRIPLEX) and the Dark Knight (GRAND SPORT) is certainly an art-deco artist.

Ugh...every time I see ROM: Space Knight, I kick myself. I had a near complete collection that I had to sell once upon a time.
