Frontpage is on Mass Ave downtown. Come one come all. Should be plenty of room. Email in profile if you need directions or something.

It's 5 hours from me, and I just realized this is the day before the Big Ten title game, which I'll probably be going to anyways, so I'm probably in.

Does that mean that there won't be any hotels available?

Ooohhh, yeah, pretty much. If you book now you might be good since the teams playing haven't been decided yet.

Hotel Info

You should be alright if you book ahead. As someone mentioned teams havent been decided. Game is not until Saturday night so Friday night wont be bad if the teams are relatively close to Indy. Try the Hilton Garden downtown. It's walking distance to frontpage and not too spensive. If not that try the Columbia Club. It's not known to people and serves as overflow for big events like this. Avoid all the hotels down by Convention Center as they will be jacked on rates. JW, Westin, Marriott, Hyatt, Embassy, Omni

I wouldn't say that, Michigan State is pretty much guarenteed their division right now, and they're a nationwide alumni base and a partying fanbase. MSU fans will make a weekend of it.

Not sure if I am going or not.

I had a sponsor in Chicago.

skybreaker:

No question about that, but the hotels in the wholesale district will hold all of them and whoever the other team is. The ones I listed are up in the business district and removed from the convention area a bit. However, the Hilton Garden I mentioned is the homebase for Mich State band and boosters during Big Ten basketball so they may have an agreement. Still, if you book now you should be able to get a room. If not, the Columbia club is semi-private but I can probably get a few rooms if y'all are serious.

I'm just letting people know not to sleep on it. This is going to be way bigger than the Big Ten tournament, it's only 2 schools but will bring in 4-5 times more people.

Hmm, just walked over and talked to Hilton Garden manager. Mich. State blocked out entire hotel for friday and saturday night. Columbia Club has rooms, as does the Ramada on Ohio Street. Both of those are close to Frontpage also.

The SHERATON(not Ramada) on Ohio Street is $150

The Columbia Club is $130 but you'll have to get that through me as they are not taking open reservations for Friday night. They are both booked Saturday night however.

If you know of any Indy Farkers let them know of the party. See you there.

Really wish I could be at this one. I work in retail right now, and my normal days off are Mondays and Tuesdays, and given the season, there's NO way I could get a request-off approved. Not 'til after Christmas. :( Fark this economy, I need a 'real' job. Working on it, but it just hasn't happened yet.

I would never go to a party that's only in 2D.

I demand depth from you people, at least.

We know you have width covered.

It used to be fun to watch the dash to Frontpage and back when the pressroom went on break.

That's an awfully long way from me... at least 15 miles.
I may be able to make it, depends on what else comes up that day.

I'm pretty sure you two have met.
Not living downtown any more DocCal?

Not in ages. I live in BR, right off Kessler and the trail.

Yeah, Ween and I have met.
