Maybe he was cleaning two guns?

Mr. Hillson was actually cleaning and removing rounds from the firearm

While I'm not a gun expert, it is my understanding that there are other ways to remove rounds than by firing them.

2011-11-15 09:16:59 AM
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to make sure the firearm is completely empty before cleaning it.

2011-11-15 09:25:57 AM
Was it double-barreled? Was my ex the one who had this 'accident'? Inquiring minds want to know.

2011-11-15 09:52:15 AM
It was really dirty.

2011-11-15 10:03:25 AM
Yeah see I was cleaning the gun and it went off. Got her right in the leg. And she kind of laughed it off and was crawling her way to the bathroom going on about NO DON'T DO IT, LOL DON'T KILL ME in that funny way that we joke around and that's when it went off again. Right in her face.

Ok yes you might ask "what's with the writing in blood on the wall?" Ok, my favorite band just happens to be the F*CK C*NTS. And THAT B*TCH DESERVED TO DIE happens to be one of my favorite songs of theirs and...well I guess our definitions of what makes a good music fan are different. Let's agree to disagree.

Now I can totally explain what you're going to find in the basement. I've been collecting children's clothes all my life. Weird hobby to some, but to me? A passion.

While you're explaining how you shot yourself twice while cleaning your gun, can you also elaborate on the fact that the bullet holes are in your back?

2011-11-15 10:35:19 AM
Well, I told her to quit bothering me. Then I had to tell her again. What more do you want?

If your wife received two gunshot wounds because you were "cleaning your gun" the police might have a problem with that

Especially if the gun in question is a muzzleloader.

If she got two gunshot wounds, she didn't listen the first time.

I can understand this. He was cleaning the gun, it accidentally went off and shot her and then she back-sassed him. The second shot was justifiable

Aarontology: I'm pretty sure you're supposed to make sure the firearm is completely empty before cleaning it.

and what better way to unload a gun than fireing into your wife?

2011-11-15 10:53:22 AM
So? Just wipe it up or take a shower. Oh, *gun* shot ... nevermind, thought the headline was full of euphemisms.

Black powder revolver. Instead of pulling the ball, it's much easier to put a cap on the chamber and fire it.

Isn't it a rule that you are not supposed to clean your gun in the kitchen?

I wonder if her last words were, "Is the safety on?"

Actually, it's easier to remove the nipples and push the loads out of the front of the cylinder with a brass rod, because you don't have to clean the gun afterwards. With a Remington style revolver, you can just replace a loaded cylinder with an unloaded one.

Or, you could use one of the fancy-shmancy CO2 thingies.

I find it a little.. odd.. that SHE was the one who called 911.

Her: "omg you shot me call 911"
Him: "OMG OMG OMG I SHOT YOU. OMG OMG"
Her: "shut up and call 911 you prick"
Him: "OMG OMG OMG WHAT DO I DO. I CANT FIND THE 11 BUTTON"
Her: "give me the damn phone"

WARNING: Do not clean gun ballistically. Doing so greatly increases risk of injury or death.

Yes, yes, you're probably right. Easier. But not as fun.
Always wanted to try one of the CO2 gadjets, but wondered if they really worked.

Shoot me once, shame on you.

Shoot me twice, shame on me.

He should be glad the cops got him before the game warden showed up (those guys don't fark around).

It was hard to watch her suffer, but with the second shot she died.

Pretty simple answer, there was 2 in the chamber.

i'd side with a shotgun wound. With enough distance wouldnt be hard to get an abdomen and a leg wound.

That's why I always clear my firearms in random parking lots through a hole hidden in the trunk. The lulz are worth it when everyone else goes running.

This was my thought as well. It wasn't enough to shoot her TWICE, but she had to be the one to call for help.

What if you play a game of drunken William Tell with your wife that ends with you shooting her in the head?

Lone Star Tarheel: Thank God we don't have gun control laws in this country. Otherwise her safety might be in danger.

Aside from disarming the man entirely, how would gun control laws have eliminated this? Outlawing any gun capable of firing a second shot? *confused*

not to mention she had to get up off the floor and call 911 herself, because he had to start the cleaning over again.

Stop your whining, it's not like you're going to get shot twic *blam* oh, shiat. here, take the phone, you better call 911 and get that looked at, it's kind of nasty this time
