Seriously--there are reasons to dislike Jeter, he comes across as a cocky playboy for one. However, as a baseball player? I watched the 20 greatest moments in baseball history, and 2 of them involved him. No one else had more than one.

2: jeter reminds me on one asshole baseball player from my high school. dude was dumb as hell, and treated my friends and I like shiat because we wouldn't let his dumb ass cheat off of us. got kicked out of the school after 1 year (along with his equally dumb sidekick) for poor grades

Well, he won a bunch of championships, he was part of one of the greatest baseball dysnasties in the history of the sport, he set a bunch of records, he'll go down as one of the greatest shortstops of all time, he's going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, he's made many millions of dollars, and he dates models and actresses. So I guess I can see why a basement-dwelling Farker would think he's overrated.

So when will KC name the football field after the best athlete to come from Kalamazoo?
