When this company falls it is going to fall hard.

H31N0US: When this company falls it is going to fall hard.

Why would it fail? They now run the world.

Goldman rules the world. ECB head now has a Goldman Sachs alumni running the show. Greece now has an ex-banker who worked with the Fed and other European banking operations (Papademos) and last but not list, an adviser to the board at Goldman Sachs is now running the show in Italy.

Governments and politics can change but banks never do as they are too big to fail. Even a government and democracy isn't too big to fall as long as the banks and their banking masters are kept alive.

This is Planet Earth circa 2011. Enjoy.

Government of the bankers, by the bankers, for the bankers.

You answered your own question.

Yeah, let's worry about monopolies by Microsoft and Google.

And people make fun of Muslims for not allowing the charging of interest.

/Of course, they weasel around that rule, as with much else.

They'll fail. It is inevitable.

You act like this is a new thing, but banks have held enormous amounts of power for hundreds of years - there's probably no bank as powerful today as the Medici bank was in renaissance Italy.

You mentioned the bailout, but the reality is that Geitner is still the treasury secretary and continually using the US government to help Goldman. It's bigger than just a bailout. Sleep tight.

Goldman Sachs doesn't pick up after their dog and cancelled Arrested Development.

The vampire squid is everywhere. Even the Fed generally takes its marching orders from Goldman.

Goldman Sachs drives the speed limit in the left lane.

So lets get this straight. Goldman Sachs guys:

- Run the US
- Run Italy
- Run France
- Run the UK
- Run the IMF
- Run the Federal Reserve

They are, as Matt Taibbi calls them, the Giant Vampire Squid that rules the world. Yet for some reason they always need another bail-out to be able to turn a profit and pay their Christmas bonuses. Time to cut off the spiget and let them survive in the free market.

What good is controlling a government if you can't use them to pump taxpayer money directly into your own pockets?

Sounds to me like a conspiracy by a criminal organization. Eh, maybe it's just a coincidence that former employees are using government positions to line their pockets and bailout companies based on the earnings of the next 50 generations.

They are running out of people to fark over.
